Believe it or not, I actually had an idea for a fanfiction somewhat similar (but somewhat different) to what the current season is about. Apparently, CN beat me to it. -_-

Teen Titans is one of the funniest super hero shows out there. I love the episode where they all dress like Robin. Very funny. Raven is my favorite!!!!
I was on a site where they interviewed a director of TT or whatever he was, and he said that they probably wouldn't bring Terra back. But he had received death threats from crazed Terra fans insisting that he bring her back.
I'm not sure if that needed spoilers, probably not, but just in case.
I heard that someone dropped a hint she might be coming back in an "interesting" way. It's a long shot, but I was thinking about what if the Brotherhood of Evil ressurected her or cloned her since they seem to be attemtping to go to great lengths to gather all the Titans' previous foes.
I was just watching a little bit of the episode where the Teen Titans met Kitten and Fang, and I noticed that Beast Boy sounded really different back then. So did Starfire.
I was wondering if anyone else noticed how much the show has changed since it's early days. For instance, the plot has gotten a lot deeper and the characters actually relate to each other now.

Also, it seems like Raven doesn't use those words as much. I'm not sure what they're called, but you rarely hear them now.

(You're thinking of "Azarath Metrion Zinthos", Star. And yeah, she doesn't use them all that much anymore. I miss them.)

(I watched it too. 'Twas the first time I saw that one, so I didn't pay all that much attention to the voices as I usually do (meh, I know. Usually I can tell every single difference in a person's voice), but I did notice it.)

I'm kind of glad we don't hear Raven's little chant as much any more, it was starting to get over used. They're pretty darn cool in moderation, though.

I kinda wish they would start focusing on the romance bit between characters a bit more. Have Robin and Starfire get together, along with a few other pairings...

The makers of Azarath and Metrion are proud to introduce Zinthos.

New and improved Zinthos gives you exactly what you need, exactly when you need it.

And because it’s blue — Zinthos goes with everything.

[i]Zinthos isn’t right for everyone and may cause bloating, cramping, hair loss, disturbing visions, fits of rage, and growth of additional eyes. Children under three should not be exposed to Zinthos. Do not get Zinthos wet, and never feed it after midnight. If you experience trouble meditating, stop saying “Zinthosâ€

Victor Stone. They kind of alluded to that when he disguised himself to break into Brother Blood's hideout, remember?

This is in no way based upon any actual fact, but I'd give you fairly good odds that Raven's chant has no particular meaning. At best it refers to three other concepts within the Teen Titans universe. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the chant because its purpose and operation is never really made clear.

As for Azier's pairings comment: it is extremely unlikely that they'll ever actually get characters together. For some reason, this is very unpopular in television series; fans seem to like ambiguity. It is more likely that, if the element was explored at all, it would be only in a manner that states nothing explicitly.

Azarath - the place of Raven's birth. Her human mother fled there after being impregnated by Raven's demon father Trigon.

The other two words were invented for the TV show’s chant.

Metrion – Rumor has it that this is Raven’s real name. She is never actually called anything but Raven in either the TV series or comic book to my knowledge.

Zinthos - Rumor has it this is the name of a beloved pet of Raven’s. There’s no record of it to my knowledge.

Tonight's episode was okay. Nice to see some of the lesser known Titans finally getting screentime. Allthough I can't believe Robin fell for such a lame trick at the end.

But the way they did it it was actually hard to tell who it really was, although you
kind of had the feeling that it was Madame Rouge,I mean that was obviously the
only way to end the ep.

I don't think "smarter" is the word...

Nope, she doesn't chant at all in the comic.

mitsuki lover wrote:I've never read the comics although I do know that at one point Supergirl,Wonder

The "original" teen titans in the comics are Robin, Kid Flash, and Wonder Girl. Aqualad joins soon after and Speedy comes and goes as his mood (and the mood of the writers) changes.

The original Teen Titans were all protégés of Justice League members except for Wonder Girl, who was included in the Titans by accident (perhaps an intentional one, but an accident none-the-less). Wonder Girl appeared with the Titans shortly after appearing in a story arc of Wonder Woman. (Robin and Kid Flash were already established characters in Batman and Flash comics). In that arc, the Wonder Girl that appeared was actually a flashback of Wonder Woman from when she was a teenager. So Wonder Girl did not actually exist.

The current comic Titans membership is Cyborg, Starfire, Beast Boy, Robin III (Tim Drake), Kid Flash II (Bart Allen, grandson of Barry Allen – the second Flash), Wonder Girl II (Cassie Sandsmark), Superboy, Raven, and Speedy II (Mia Dearden).

It was...okay..*sighs* I miss the days of formulaic villains of the week and a moral to go. Surprisingly, it worked.
Now 'tis all the villains? It kind of devalues all their past fights. And am I the only one who didn't notice Slade? Hmmm..I wonder where he could be...
You really think so? Personally, I thought that sort of thing cheeped the experience.
Slade's "nobody's minion" remember? Oddly enough, his butler Wintergreen showed up in the badguy lineup in "Homecoming part 2", wonder where he's been since "Divide and Conquer"?
You weren't missing much. It exists only for the plot point of the Brotherhood of Evil getting one of the communicators (giving them the ability to spy on the Titans) and to show that the Brotherhood of Evil is beginning their offensive strike against the Titans. Other than that, it was an okay episode, but didn't hold my interest as much as the previous one. The next episode seems to be more interesting as the Titans East take on Control Freak.
