Also it does depend wheter or not you have a paticuliar favorite VA in the series.
For example one of my favorites is Michelle Ruff who just so happens to do the
voices of Zoe/Kazemon/Zephrymon in Frontiers.

Wendee Lee played young TK and a few other roles in the series. She rocks! And that guy who played the main character in Cowboy Bebop (forgot his name; I think he has his own fan topic on this forum ^^) played Junpei in the Frontier dub. I really want to see all of Frontier in english.

I will admit that while I'm... not particularily happy with the dubbing, a lot of the characters actually had pretty good character-suiting voices. A lot of them were pretty good... some WERE rather annoying though. (Tentomon's voice is... :/ either way really). Soem voices are good both ways, some have the orginal better than dub, vice versa. It's more just... the actually dub dialog and taking out all the good songs with Digirap and so forth. :/ They made 02 one big joke fest practically... never knew the actual dialoge was so... serious. Made the show better almost.

I've never really minded dubs, as long as they're resonably good I'm happy (though I DO get pretty annoyed with hearing the same couple of actors over and over again, but that's a whole other topic) I really didn't like the music in 02, though. In fact, most of the American music in Digimon was kinda :eyebrow:

I agree with the "joke fest" in 02. I watched the Japanese 02 movie (the Golden Digimentals) and then the English release...the dialogue was so different it wasn't even funny. Half of it was bad jokes and puns. Not to mention they like, you know, cut half the movie. *grumbles*

One of my favorite Tamers episodes is the one where Jeri is looking for her own
Digimon to tame.I know I probably mentioned it before, but the reason why I like it is because it is such a sweet and sad little episode because Jeri spends all the time
trying to find a Digimon to tame and every time she just gets disappointed until the
point when Leomon arrives and she finally gets her own digivice.

Yeah, that was a good one

...and it makes Leomon's eventual fate all the more powerful

And Jeri's lost even more devestating since she worked so hard to find her own
Digimon.

Indeed. Compare it to 02's attempt to make TK traumatized over what Devimon did to Patamon (no where NEAR as convincing)

Seasons 1 &2
Angemon
Yamato Ishida a.ka. Matt (I mean I have taken his name as my own, cuz Matt's my real name so back when digimon came out the nickname i use to this day was born, in fact just a while back i had a shirt airbrushed with Yamato on it)
The loving, caring, and slightly bad-influencing father of 1balloonpopper and khakibluesocks!!!
Also I'm not sure how -_-' but somehow I am the Master and Father of Spectro-King according to his signature ... but hey I'm up for having a minion ... so jump stupid ... I'll have him keeeeel you
 Evil child of Fantasy Dreamer and Dark Disturbed Grandchild of Cephas VII
On a quest to adopt Cephas
 WACKY BANANA!!! ROCKER!!! glomp of DOOM!!!
Ive noticed something interesting, when a place is really amazing people say it must be seen to believed ... but the most amazing place ever must be believed to be seen.

Favorite season?: I think.. the first one. Second one? both.

Favorite Digimon: Myotismon. Cool, was a vampire, and his bats were cute in an disturbing way.

Favorite Digidestined/Tamer: Ken. He had many problems. I also thought the Digimon Emperor was very cool for some reason. He grows very much, I think.

I thought the seasons after 1 and 2 were a bit boring, I don't know why. Maybe because I don't think they used the Digimon world and the whole theme of discovering weird things there. I also remember being dissapointed with the ending of 02 (where there are many many digidestined all around the world). I stopped watching Digimon completely at season 4 because I thought they lost the whole point ( that's the one where they don't have partners anymore and just transform into digimon, right?)

Sorry, I talk too much..

I believe the coolest season was season 3 and my favorite digimon was joustmon when he combines with arc and gets the sword and wings because that was awsome
yet I also really like bellzelmon or how ever you say that because he was awsome with the guns and black wings and then when he uses fist of the beast king I mean I watched that part like 20 times it was really cool

I just remmembered the funniest thing I ever saw when I went to the phillippiens to visit my step moms family I turned on the tv and noticed digimon was on the funny thing is I expected it to be in filippino but it was in english the funny part was that all the voices were still done by fillipinos and the voices of the characters where so diffrent and funny I couldn't stop laughing.

I thought the third season was the best. It focused more on the growth of the characters and just felt "darker" in a way.

I had a thought:Remember in Frontiers there were those four kids that they
met who refused to go back? Also remember that at the beginning they had to
battle the four Legendary Warriors under Cherubimon's control?
What I thought was interesting that there was the same male/female ratio in each
group.
So here's an WHAT IF question:
What if the four evil legendary warriors hadn't gone bad or what if Cherubimon
hadn't do you think that it might have been possible that those four kids might
have inherited their spirits?

Nice site.Although in the end it was probably Lucimon who actually tainted
the Spirits of Wood,Steel,Earth and Water by working through Cherubimon.
As remember it was Lucimon who actually corrupted Cherubimon.
btw:Anyone else see the good news that in October Toon Disney will be
airing the following Digimon Movies at 3:00 Sunday afternoons:
Digimon:The Runaway Locomon
Digimon:Digimon Adventurers
Digimon:The Island Of Lost Digimon
From the ads it is clear that the first two involve the Digitamers
(Henry,Rika,Takato,Jeri, etc.)and the last one the Legendary Warriors
(Takuya,Zoe,J.P.,Koichi,Tommy) :thumb:

You don't say. I head about this yesterday and went looking for info, but couldn't find any mention of the movies on Toon Disney's website. Not that it matters much to me, since I don't get Toon Disney. (What's wrong with ABC Family? Don't they get the movies too?)
