i am wondering what you think a 23 yr old should do for their birthday?

Chucky Cheese is out, cant fit.....

No clubs, too immoral

TGIF's is a every saturday thing....

Got any ideas?

Uhm... no beer. Pizza is always good. Paintball is always fun. Outback Steakhouse if you're looking for really good meat. Oh, and don't forget the birthday spanking.

As I recall, when I turned 23, I went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner with my parents.

Oh, and I changed my Away message on AIM to read that I felt old at 23.

I've been thinking a 'roving party' would be awesome. I won't hit my twenty third birthday for a while, but still. Just get a bunch of their friends together, and have play a few party games at each of a few houses.

go all out and hang out at the movies with people close to u it doesnt have to be somthing specific just do what u think is fun^_^

Well, I pretty much always do the same thing. I get my friends together and do somthing. If its going to the coast to go hiking or Mt. Climbing....or having a cookout at my place...somthing that gets the friends together.

well, i just had a bunch of friends come over to my house and have a bunch of mexican food, then we shot some pool in my garage, then went downtown and hung out with my friends at a local place that's known for it's coffee and desserts, but movies and bowling are always fun too

I suggest going to a steak house. Or perhaps a place that has all you can eat ribs... OH yes ribs, or maybe barbequed chicken legs...

I should take notes since all be hitting 23 at the end of this year. I really don't do much anyway since my birthday is right after Christmas. Most people are busy. I usually just have dinner with my family. When I turned 21 I had a glass of wine with my dad and that was it.

I didn't do much for my 23rd. We had a cake. People said "happy birthday". I narrowly escaped having to make a speech at church because someone else had a birthday nearby and I made a point of being low-key about it. I might have gone out to dinner with my family or something, but I don't quite recall.

I don't really care too much about birthdays, really - I'd just as soon ignore them. I like the idea of just advancing everyone a year on the same day so I only have one holiday to ignore. That way people would take it less personally. (It's nothing personal if I don't do anything for your birthday - I'd forget my own if people would let me)

I'll probably have about 23 people mistaking my b-day for being Halloween (it's on Oct. 30), but as long as I get cakes and at least gift cards, I'm good.

I think mine was a surprise birthday party. But it's hard to arrange those for yourself! Personally I always like to tie them into an experience, perhaps a trip somewhere - a daytrip or something - like hiking and camping overnight, or dinner and then spend the night out under the stars or something.

For my twenty-third birthday, we hung out at The Apartment like we always did, except for some people set fire to a cheesecake. We also wore sombreros, because by the time they got around to celebrating my birthday it was Cinco de Mayo. Here are the sombreros:

NOTE: Cap'n Nick is not in this picture. He is behind the camera like a goober.

There was also a piÃ±ata, which caught fire in a similar but wholly distinct manner from the cheesecake. I couldn't take any pictures of it, though.

If I could do it over again, I would either do karaoke or The City Museum. The City Museum here in St. Louis is the best thing in good clean fun for old folks that I've ever seen. It's basically a giant jungle gym, only it's for adults. It sounds weird but it's a total riot and a lot more fun than some smoky club where it's too noisy to talk.
