There is a song in a gilbert and sullivan allong these lines. In it the protagonisht sings that when he a babe of 2 was betrothed to princess Ida who was one, there was a big fuss becuase he was twice his age, but now that he was in his twentys she had caught up with him, and was now only 1 twentieth younger than him.
That is an abstract example but, the moral is the same. When you are in your twentys 2 years difference is not a big deal, but when you are 15 it is more so. Wait a few years. The age difference will become smaller.

My main opinion would be for you to ask for God's guidance. I had a problem like this one time but I really realized the only good advice I was given came from the Lord Himself. Please, if you haven't prayed already start doing it.
