I don't think you have to wait that long unless God tells you too. ^^;;;
Don't worry about it. Be yourself. Be Godly. Stay Pure. You seem so wonderful I'm sure that everything will work out perfectly as long as you follow and keep with the light.

Perfect! :thumb:

Just kidding. Ok, in high school, it is sometimes a bit wierd for a guy to date a girl 2 years younger than him. It happens but it is usually weird when it happens. (had to endure a bus ride through europe with a couple of pairs like this.) Plus, she in in junior high. Thats too young to be dating and you arn't Mr. Old-and-mature yourself either. Wait it out, just like I told the other guy who was asking a similar quesiton a day or two ago. You are 15 wait at least 2 or three years, and then try to pick somone that is your age. If your relationship gets at all serious, which is sort of the goal of a relationship, you are going to have to deal with a highschool girlfriend when you are in college. Wait it out. The phase will pass, and you will (mostlikely) say "wow, that would have been a bit odd. I am glad I listend to that guy with the ugly dude in his avatar."

You are 15. This is probably just a crush. It will pass (mostlikely). I had them at 15 and they passed. I am very, very glad that I never acted upon them. You will be to, though you probably wont think so now. Anyway, thats my 2 cents.

truthfully i say if you like her, ask her out.

I dated a girl that was two years younger than me and that went on for about a year but then she moved so the realation ship ended, then i dated a girl a year younger but that didnt last more than a month, and right now i'm dating a girl two years older than me, and frankly i dont care who knows. Of course there's always the after effect of dating which i think most ppl fear. well anyway that's what i think about it. sorry for going into my life just trying to show examples.

Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?

i would said ... wait to date when you can afford her.

i didnt start dating till i was 18-19. And that is still to young... dating really hurts your sexual purity, and your schooling!!! You have divided interests and school always seems to become second place and so does your relationship with God with you become "active". So, i say wait because you have so much time to decide... and dont ruin your early years.

The older you get, the less age matters. There's nothing really wrong with dating someone younger than yourself, but the younger you are, the more the difference in age matters. 8th grade IS a bit young to be dating, in my opinion. People mature at different levels, though. My own personal advice would be to just wait and be really good friends with her for a while. : ) You've got plenty of time to date in the future.

well, were they 15 and 13 when they first started going out? Hm?

There is a song in a gilbert and sullivan allong these lines. In it the protagonisht sings that when he a babe of 2 was betrothed to princess Ida who was one, there was a big fuss becuase he was twice his age, but now that he was in his twentys she had caught up with him, and was now only 1 twentieth younger than him.

That is an abstract example but, the moral is the same. When you are in your twentys 2 years difference is not a big deal, but when you are 15 it is more so. Wait a few years. The age difference will become smaller.

Why don't you ask God? When it comes down to it all only God's divine plan will work. don't worry about it, and don't rush into things.
I would see what she thinks too, and maybe talk to your parents about it.
My main opinion would be for you to ask for God's guidance. I had a problem like this one time but I really realized the only good advice I was given came from the Lord Himself. Please, if you haven't prayed already start doing it.

um well when u get older it doesnt matter that much cause my moms 8 years younger than my dad and their in love
(when u do get older age wont matter)
The Letter from God Dear child, Despite your silence, I have heard your soul weeping. Why have you been so unhappy? Have you forgotten my everlasting love for you? Child, you are mine. Why have you not called my name sooner? If you seek me, I will answer. I am your counselor, ready to instruct you and show you which path to take. When you come to me, I will embrace you and silence all your fears. Just remember that I am here to hold you close and dry your tears. I will always be right beside you. Not only am I your father, but your best friend. Do not be afraid to ask for my mercy and forgiveness. I know that its hard to live on earth, so I understand when you fall down once in awhile, ask me for help, and I will pick you up and carry you. No one loves you more than I do. When you feel alone, remember I am beside you. When you feel helpless, remember I offer myself to you. When you feel lost, remember I will lead you, and when you feel forgotten, remember that you are my child and I will love you unconditionally. It is never too late to come home. I will be here waiting, ready to embrace you. I will leave the light on for you. Forever with you, God
