We do that here at the college CR, this doesn't have to be your last year. We do "See you at the Fountain" since the flag pole is stuck on the side of the building..

People snickered at our group one year when we prayed. But the year of 9/11 we had big turn out and the principle and some students prayed out loud through a PA system. However, we had a totally different problem that year, one of my Hindu classmates who was there later told a friend of mine he was seriously considering offering a pray to Vishnu, but he didn't because didn't want everyone to hate him. That could have been awkward.

there were maybe like...15 or so students, and like 5 faculty members. We held hands around the pole and each said a little prayer... haha so formal

I'd love to hear stories of your SYATPs! I go to a Christian school and we have a SYATP, but transportation is a problem for me and we pray at the school daily anyways XD;

So anyhow, please share! The stories are always so exciting~

yea... our group was like... 10 people... and... people were mekken fun of us... and we scared some people! XD. NO srsly:

GIRL: "ARE THE PRAYING?"

GIRL 2: "I Dunno... but... that stuff scares me!"

ROFL. I think girl2 thought we were like casting a spell on the school or something. People were like... walking by and sayen stuff like "WHAT THE?!?!?"

We all prayed: for each other, our school, our teachers, and that we would have strength to continue what God had in store for us.

It was good... but there were less people this year.

Someone had the idea of doing this every month instead of only once a year. Every 3rd wednesday i think we are doing it. Seemed like a good idea to me!
