Je parle francais un peu. J'oublie beaucoup. C'est tres mal. Je etudie pour six ans.
I think I mespelled that.
i actually read French at a way higher level then I can speak or write in it. 0_o And half the time i start out speaking in french and end up in Japanese. Though they aren't even related. Probably because I'm studying Japanese.

For my Year 12 French examination, I had to talk about myself in French or 10 minutes, so that's what I'm really good at talking about in French. Makes for great conversation

I studied it for four years, and then took a trip to France. After that I didn't speak it for four years. Most recently, this August, when I went to World Youth Day, we spent a week doing pilgrimages in France, and I discovered that I still know a good deal of "survival" French. I can ask questions and get my point across, but I can't hold a conversation.

I am soooo tempted to pull out my french-english dictionary.....
I love reading Le petit Nicolas because I understand it...I read and speak at a VERY elementary level....

It's been about 9 years since I studied any French. I seem to be doing well comprehending it, but writing would be a challenge!
