it varies on what i'm wearing and how much sleep i've gotten how much older or younger i look than my age. when i was in my early teens people always thought i was younger than i really was, but now it varies. i don't act my age a good part of the time, i'm either 70 or 10, not 19... XD. i drink juice boxes and eat trix yogurt and other 'kid' food and watch cartoons, but then i tend to 'mommy' everyone to make up for it.

i'll tell ya what though, the other day a dorm mate and i were watching tv and an ad for the 10th anniversary edition of 'Toy Story' came on. we both were like 'no way, that movie can't be *that* old' (like 10 is old or something :eyeroll: ). makes one think... :P lol

Well, on the one hand, I am often mistaken for someone several years younger than me (in high school, people thought I was still in middle school, for example).

On the other hand, I have been told that I am a 40 year old in a 20 year old's body (this was several years ago--back when I WAS 20).

I'd say I feel my age, but I don't act like it. In some ways, I act too old (hence why I was compared to someone twice my age), and in others, far too young.
To all, life thou givest, to both great and small.
In all life, thou livest, the true life of all.
We blossom and flourish as leaves on a tree
And wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.

I feel like I act a little older than I really am. In fact, I'm positive that I was a hippie in a past life!

I was offered the discount coffee at a local Hardee's recently. You have to be 50 and over to get that so I guess in regards to looks I must look older than I am. Occasionally (more often than I want to admit it) I get more aches and pains throughout my body. So I guess physically I must be showing my age somewhat. But, my wife makes fun of me for sitting around watching cartoons all the time and I get along great with the children and youth of the church. So I guess mentally I'm just a big kid at heart.

I think I look my age, maybe a little older, but I don't really act it. I feel 14 and I've just started my 3rd year in college.

I find myself calling people kids...Even if they are a few years older than me. I also use phrases such as "back in the day."

On account of a hurricane looming off the coast, we didn't have school today. So I stayed up late enough to watch a re-run of FMA last night and then got up at about 10:30 today. Not even bothering to change from my pj's, I went to the kitchen, made some cereal, and curled down into my bed to watch cartoons. I continued to do this until about 1:30, at which time I decided that it was a decent hour to start my school work. It's 5:51 and I'm still in the same PJ's even though I took a shower.

Now the sad thing is, in about 6 months I will be a legal adult.

No, I do not feel my age.
"So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor."

im still getting mistaken for a middle schooler in 10th grade. but thats good news for me in the future. i'll be 32 and look 28 or something. go me. i also dont mind them only charging me the less expensive child's ticket at the movies. so no, i dont look my age. i act it though. in my own way. i watch cartoons, eat sugary cereal, complain about waking up before 8:00 and all that. on the other hand adults say i handle myself well (probably from being around mostly adults as an only child, getting my influences from them).

Frankly I wished I was more mature... but that is really responsibility-wise and will come with age and a mentality to do what I need to do. I wouldn't trade my craziness and annoying self for anything. When I reach my dad's age, I will be glad of it since I inherited it from him.

Well I am 50 and I don't feel my age. I guess because I am single and have never married or had children so I guess those types of responsiblities would make me feel my age.
The only things would make you feel your age are to have medical procedures that anyone 50 and up have to have when they get that age. The one I hate is a colonoscopy and everything that is involved with it. Lucky it only has to be done 5 years but it is a nightmare to get ready for and what follows after it.
My father he is 78 and trys to act younger than me.

This thread is showing me that a lot of people are older than I thought they were.

haha i think the only time i feel like i am in my 20s is when i start to question if i can eat a whole bag of candy without it going to my hips... oh yea when i go to Chucky Cheese and tried to go through the tubes... and get my butt stuck... then i feel my age.

Oh yea when i try to run a mile and die.. then i feel 22 and not 10.

No, I don't...heh...we won't go into it, but if you look closely enough, you know how they say pain lines can be etched and seen around people's eyes? I regret not looking or acting my age. I'm TOO mature. It's hard for me to have fun or find stuff funny...I'm just depressing, aren't I?
