well I was noticing on the television the other day that the news was talking about online communities like Myspace.com, I was wondering,

does anyone here use an online community like myspace, and do you consider these boards to act as a "community?"

mhm. my friends ALLLLL have myspace. i dont. i refuse. my friends go GET A MYSPACE NOW BIZALCRHCA! and im like .N O. i shall NOT. i dont get the point. waht do you do? post pictures of yourself and wait for people to stalk you?

id rather not be stalked. XD

its so annoying. one of my friends has it, and all these guys send her messages like
'yo, you iz hot, grl. man. you iz so hot. will you be mah myspace friend yo? cause dat would be da shiznite. and dawg. you is hot. yeah. date me." and my friend like like... wth?

so id rather not get barraged with 'you iz s00 hot.' emails. >.<

I have a myspace, though it's really a joke. And technically it's not MINE, it's my character Torres's.

As for what I personally think of myspace: let's say Torres isn't the brightest bulb on the tree.

I dislike myspace immensly. I find it pointless more or less and frankly... if i want to find people in my area I can leave my house.

the reason I have mine is to keep in touch with my church friends... who ALL use myspace... BAH they need to switch something better

I have a myspace because my friend Sean had one, but I'm not really fond of it. All I get are random messages from weirdo stalker guys telling me "ur hawt n I live close to you. Want 2 hook up?" What I find funny is that I have "Christian" all over my profile and I still get some rather inappropriate messages and invites. I don't really use it. I have lots of local friends on my account and some random seemingly nice people that live in another state that added me, but I've only kept contact with one girl. I frankly think it's pointless. You can do the same things with email or journals.

I have a myspace but my original intention for creating it was to look at someone's pictures. (Is that shallow or what?) I didn't even bother to set it up completely until one of my childhood friends that moved to Germany used Myspace to find me. Turns out he moved back into town and kept asking around for me but couldn't find a single trace so he turned to the internet. So the two of us had a nice reunion and we're now good friends again. The end.

So basically; get a myspace, find childhood friends.

I do find it very annoying, however, that 30 year olds in my area can stalk me with it. I went into our Target once and one of the cashiers with a bald spot complimented me on mine. I haven't been in Target for awhile.

I have a myspace, my friends kinda set it up for me, and all of a sudden i get a message saying "welcome to myspace" I was like , "what the flying monkeys"

and its annoying, how all these people want to be your "FRIENDS" CREEPY STALKERS,

if anyone is interested, just search for Fishbone_89@msn.com and you should find me, have fun....I dont like it too much I have all these wierd friends whom I dont know

I have a Myspace and I quite like it.
My only problem with it is that because it's free, their servers aren't the most reliable around.
