I was wondering if anyone could name some Christian asian actors and action movie stars. Does anyone know of some?

Hmm....not that I know at the moment, although I'm pretty sure some of them are Christians. I don't think Asian actors/actresses express their spiritual beliefs openly in general. This will require some amount of research.

Toshiro Mifune, who is considered by many to be the greatest Japanese actor ever (he died a few years ago) wanted to marry the women who would became his wife (Sachiko Yoshimine) her parents wouldn't allow it because he was a Christian. He wouldn't change his faith to suit them and eventually her parents relented and they married.

Now since most biographers of Mifune are secular I could never pin-point whether or not he remained a Christian after he became the most famous Japanese super-star of all time. Some of his roles were rather violent. But he's pretty much a good candidate for a possible famous Christian Asian actor.

Lately, hmmm. Wonbin came out in Taeguki, which is a really popular Korean war movie. And Kim Taehee is known for her pure beauty and she came out in Love Story in Harvard and Stairway to Heaven. HYUNBIN is this really handsome actor!!! He came out in My Name is Kim Samsoon, which is really popular too. There are plenty more but I don't remember them.

There is a network of Hong Kong Christian actors/actresses known as "The Celebrity Family" (loose translation).

It was chaired by that guy ... "Qiao Hung" (Cantonese: "Kiu Wang") ... For those of you who remember watching "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" - Qiao Hung played the bad guy that poisoned Dr. Jones for the Chinese artifact in the Chinese restaurant at the beginning of the movie.

I am not sure who chairs "The Celebrity Family" now since Qiao Hung went to be with the Lord a few years ago.
