Kidding.

Well, as an Australian, I'm very "Southern" myself. :P

Actually, as "Gone With the Wind" is one of my all time faourite books, I consider myself a Southerner. I just wasn't born in the right country. XD

Yay for made up words!

And I'm thinking Volt might not agree and I KNOW that Impact Alberto wouldn't come even CLOSE to thinking Florida was a great state.

Although...when I think of all the things that come with being a Southerner typically...Florida doesn't really seem to fit, lol. It's like it's own little country.

Lots of Southerners here on CAA

u are a transplanted yankee, just as my grandfather who was born and raised in ohio married my grandmother (who was from nc) and moved down here was referred to as a transplanted yankee, but that's alright, with time all the evils of the north with be washed away by the cleansing flood for that is the nature of the south, just be glad u didn't end up in southern florida, that's like a yankee colony down there, no sweet tea, no grits, and no southern hospitality

What Southern state would you guys recommend me visiting when I go to the USA, to get the real, good old Southern feel? I thought maybe Georgia, particularly Atlanta, but that's only cause that's where Gone With the Wind was set. Any other suggestions?
