I was just wondering....I've been on CAA when there have been only a few members on, but has anyone ever been at the CAA site all alone? (Excluding Admin who set the place up make repairs etc.!)

It doesn't happen any longer, now that the international membership has grown, but yes, I have been on CAA alone. That was primarily when the only time I could afford to spend on the internet was very early in the morning. Occasionally there would be no one else online.

I have ONCE. It was on a week night during the summer and I quickly logged back out because it was so awful. There's a member who made a post about being the only person online...I think it was bigsleep, but I'm not certain.

A couple times (and no, not counting when I had just brought the board back up from service mode).

I was alone a couple times in the wee hours of the night - 2 or 3 AM thereabouts, I think.

No, I don't think I've even ever been on whith just a few people. There might have been a few times in the 'wee hours of night' ( ;) )when there where somewere from ten to twenty on, but I doubt I've ever been on with fewer peeps then that. Of course, I am a new member, and there was already a wide range of peeps when I joined, so I guess it isn't a surprise.

I do believe I have been on alone once somewhere in the early morning, (or is it late night?) And once when CAA had been down for a while and it was just coming back up, but I'd assume there were at least mods on then.

How do you know that you are not on alone right now? We could all be an extremely advanced AI program ;)

Unless you are one of aforementioned invisible members.

Heh. I can see how you perceive that, but it generally isn't so. I get on in about the middle of the day (varying depending on my classes) and in the time I am online generally only 20 or so posts are made, most of them not relating to me.

Ah, I remember the "good old days." Or at least as old as I've seen them. Wow. Something like a year and a half ago... It feels like it's been no time at all, and at the same time, it feels like it's been forever. [/monologue]

Anyway, yep. I've been alone in CAA a few times, a long time ago. It's kind of cool. Feel the power!!

I currently am the only one online... It kind of takes some of the fun out of the experience.
