It's south of the Mason Dixon line. So we're southerners... kind of.

I was *born* in Georgia. How about that?

I don't know if you'd call California Yankee. I just call it weird.

[color=Sienna] I somewhat fondly refer to Californians as aliens from an alien planet. Take that as you will.

I'm a reluctant Southerner. I will probably spend the rest of my life here because I want to be elsewhere, but I'm certain that God will find some way to keep me here and laugh at me for the remainder of my days ]

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

If by "from" you mean "born in," then Texas. Otherwise...
To all, life thou givest, to both great and small.
In all life, thou livest, the true life of all.
We blossom and flourish as leaves on a tree
And wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.

I'm from the Northwest but my paternal grandpa was born and raised
in the Old Dominion in particuliar southeast Virginia. In fact until he moved
north to New Jersey in the early part of the 20th century all of my ancestors
on his side had been from either Virginia or North Carolina since Colonial
Times. And in fact my grandpa's people were all loyal Confederates to the
bitter end. :thumb:
