Originally I was an education major (middle school Math), but I ended up changing that. I may just end up minoring in it or just getting certified at a later date.
It's the satisfaction you get at the end of the day that counts, like you may have made a difference, not how much money you make. I switched my major from a low paying job to another low paying job. I wanted to help kids but I didn't think teaching math was my way of doing so.I wanted to be more involved.
Just curious, what field do you want to educate: elementary, middle school, highschool? Anyways, good luck with that.
