Awesome new poems faithfighter! I especially liked "Take it all away". It's a very touching poem, keep up the good work. ^_^

thank you O10, that means a lot to me. I am glad you liked them
take it all away, started as a 3rd person peom, but I find it easier to write in 1st person, because it becomes more personal.

here is my newest poem, dedicated to SnoringFrog, because it was his peotic words that inspired it
teach me
teach me to miss the obvious,
but to notice what isn't.
cause its not what’s seen that matters,
its not what’s seen that saves

teach me not to see through my eyes,
but to see with yours instead
cause its not my eyes that see everything
its not my eyes that will lead me to you.

Teach me not to speak with me tongue
But to speak with my heart
Cause my heart is where you are
And I want to be where you are.

Teach me to walk the narrow road
And to leave behind all of my past
Cause no other path leads to you
No other path leads to life.

Very good, as I said before, glad I inspired you Faith. In th e first line of the 3rd stanza, it says "me eyes" did you mean to put that or did you mean "my eyes"?

Like a puppeteer
Like a puppeteer
Messing with me tears
Did you think this was fun?

Its time to get a clue
I’m so over you
Giving up on you, I’m done!

As I walk away
You can hear me say
“Please don’t cryâ€

When
When I am weak
You are my strength
When I fall
You lift me up
When I cry
you wip away my tears
When I run away
You call me home

When life is Choas
You are my calm
When others let down
You are faithful
When the world is dark
You are me light
When my path is uncurten
You are in control

When I was blind
You gave me sight
When I was mute
You spoke through me
When I was hurt
You healed
When I was dead
You gave me life eternal!

Broken
Broken again
filled with sorrow
tears sting my eyes
I'm defeated
curl up in the dark
cry out to you
lift me to your bosom
so I can cling to your warmth
can't continue walking
this road in my state
you carry me till I can stand again
Heal this broken heart
wip the tears from my eyes
YOu give me your strength
I'm no longer defeated.

dream
Close me eyes
& to my surprise
My dreams are where I want to be
Simply cause you are there with me
If you don't tell me this is fake
Then I will be happy till I wake.

Going about this life like the day before
wishing for something more
You open my eyes to all I could be
the problem isn't this life the problem is me.

some days are good
and you wish that they would
never end.
some days are bad
and make you sad.
and you wish you had a friend.
but no matter what happens to you
there is always one friend that will see you through!
and be there for you again and again...

I understand it seem to me that my work suffers as well when I'm forced to write and not exclaim my heart. I liked when as well Made me think of a passaged in 1 Peter "Cast your cares upon Him for he Cares for you." Good job Faith.

Oh our girl
Looks in the mirror
Isn’t happy with what she sees.
Oh our girl
Ain’t a beauty queen
In some magazine.
Oh our girl
Won’t eat.
Not even a small treat.
Oh our girl
Can’t take it anymore
Her self-confidence went out the door

And God cries
My girl
I made you the way you should be
My girl
You are Beautiful to me.

Oh our boy
Father left long ago
And love is mother never shows
Oh our boy
Feels so alone
He can’t make it on his own
Oh our boy
Looks down at his knife
Wondering if he could take his life
Oh our boy
Thought he couldn’t take it anymore
But he dropped the knife on the floor…

And God cries
My son
Look to heaven above
My son
And you will find my love!
My son
I know what happened to you
My son
I will help you make it through!

Oh our girl
Time with her, parents never spend
But she found love in her boyfriend
Oh our girl
Messed up her life
Now she stands out side the clinic full of strife
Oh our girl
She cries…

Oh my girl
How can I do this to you?
Haven’t had chances to see the sky so blue!
Oh my girl
I will love you
And with Gods help we’ll make it through!!
Oh my girl
I know what happened was wrong
But God still loves, as he did all along!
Oh my girl Oh my girl Oh my girl…
