YAY. I finnally have time to post. So here are all my fun pictures (and stories... kind of) of Poland.

John squares room... cd's and all

Me (pardon the stupid punchline) clowning around

Our English class in Poland.

My DELTA moment of the trip. Two guys in England, painting graffiti, in broad day light, next to a highway. Alright, I know, I was in a different country, but still. I couldn't help but laugh and ask my self "What are they thinking?"

The Manliest Picture I have. Yah, I know, more clowns still, ITS MANLY!!!!
Image

A picture of Matthew, who became pretty much everybody's friend. But, Joey became his best friend, and had a really hard time saying goodbye to him.

Me and David.

A wonderful picture of John Mathis's (Linksquest) nose.

Ryan caught in the act of eating candy that was meant for the children of Poland. But, I guess I can't blame him since one, we had a ton of it, and two, we all started to eat it. So, no one is really guilty.

A picture of Ryan... do I need to say anything else.

A picture of the Happiest Panada by the name of Seth.

All right, here's the only picture that has a story behind it. This is a picture of me and (if my spelling is correct...excluding polish letters, yah I'll just leave a space where any of them belong) Idasiak W adystauq (left, age 90) and Wila Klecsborska (right, age 76). Anyway, the story begins when we were doing ministry in the Olesno square. I saw two elderly ladies sitting over on a bench sort of too the side of our program. So I approached them and gave them both a braclet and a tract...thing(I think thats what they were called anyway it explained the braclet) along with a paper telling about a barbaque we would be having later on. They were really thankful, but I couldn't understand anything they said since I don't speak polish. After I tagged a thing, I saw Mr. Andy (whose the only adult leader on the trip who coud speak fluent polish) was sitting with them. Through him, I was able to understand them. Eventually we asked if we could pray for them. After we prayed for them, Idasiak told us a little more about herself. It turns out that she had (if my memory doesn't fail me) a grandson and a grandaughter. She told us, thought, that her grandaughter had died at 18 and her grandson was sick at that moment. She also told us that for most of her life she had been praying for Poland and the polish people. After she told us this, she prayed for us, and then the group that had formed around them sort of disappaited, but I sort of sat with them for a little bit longer and then I had to go. Besides me crying next to the fountain, thats about it (sorry, I would go into more detail, but I'm tired).

Here is the building that the church we were working with has their sunday services. It was essentially a small room in the back of that building. We had a great time in worship. And PK also preached a really good sermon, sadly, I wasn't able to appreatiate much of this, because I was dealing with the knowledge of Satan's upcoming attack on our team... but more on that latter.

Here's a picture of Josh Shannon and his future car. Yah, can't you see him driving that bad boy..or girl... or car...thing.

Our good friend Harrison.

High of the trip-See picture of the two elderly ladies

Low of the trip- Right, My major low came actually during an awsome time of worship during their church service. You see, the night before, Josh was talking about how most missions trips (at least by our youth group) have moments in which Satan steps out and attacks the team in some way. He said he thought something was going to happen, I said to John M. that I don't fear death or Demons (famous last words). Anyway, during the worship portion of their church service, I suddenlly felt like Satan was trying to tear our team apart. I of cours started to freak out, and entered sort of a stage of denial, which was thoourghly shattered after God proved to me three times with scripture that this wasn't my imagination but that it was really going to happen. Later on, I found out that their was a song being made by people on my team that talked about how our team was better than the other team (apparently the idea of one team two cities had been thrown out the window by these people). This caused me to slip into a panic attack and caused me to cry for the second time (and you can't blame me, the only people who actually really knew about this were me, Josh S., P.K., John M., and Mr. Sam). This song of course, wouldn't have been a big deal if I hadn't of ahd that revelation and if the other team wasn't planning to do a prank on the people who would sing the song. Anyaway, the song was stopped and everything turned out fine, except for me. I'm pretty sure that whole inccident was single handedly responsible for me not really doing any ministry our last day their.

Quotes of the trip: (followed a conversation with me and Seth in which I told Seth he couldn't hold my Katana) Seth:"But that makes Seth a Sad Panda"
and,
"Thanks for all the fish."

THE END!!!!!!!!
