whheeeee! the first day SUCKED as is to be expected, but then it got much much better (w/ a bunch of prayer, i was sick w/ worry). but then again, this is only the 3rd day. my classes are
photography 1 (yay!)
honors earth and environmental science (yay!)
gym (boo...sorta)
spanish 2 (yo quero taco bell!)
LUNCH (I LOVE YOU WITH A MAD PASSION)
civics and economics (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. *stabs civics*)
integrated math 2 (its ok, not my best subject, but its fun actually)

We started last week. I have:
Intermediate Organic Lab
Chem Lit. and Ethics
Chem Seminar
Cell Bio and Lab
Beginners Spanish (A combo of the first two classes)
Intro. to Higher Mathmatics... AIEEEE!!
And I'm trying to tutor organic and maybe calculus, and I'm continuing my research from this summer. Hopefully I'll be published soon! I'm going to apply for a NASA scholarship in October, I think. But that's secondary, mainly I'm trying to get my act together when it comes to witnessing on campus. I finally got someone who's not a believer to come with me to BSU! And, we got a nice group of Christian freshmen this year.

Well since I don't have to go to school because I work for the county government I know school in my county started Aug 22 but being that where I live is in the Washington, DC area the school sytems around the city started on different dates.
The first day of school started tragiaclly in one school district. A young girl was running to catch her bus which had started away from the stop before she got there. She was running along side the bus when she fell against it and went under the rear wheels which killed her. Her mother, other parents and the children on the bus watched it happen. To add to this during the funeral a motorcycle police officer was critically injuried when he was hit by a car while escorting the funeral.
I just heard that New Orleans and the others areas hit by the hurrican may not see schools start again until the end of the year or longer.
