Is High School a bad experience?

Talk about anything in here.

*Ahem*

What is a "sophomore year"? Is it the last year of school?
We call it "Year 12".

you're always gunna meet ppl that are gunna treat you like crap...and with my luck i get that a lot...well...yeah...>_> but i'm a senior...but i don't look forward to going back...but...at least it's the last year. \^o^/ yay!

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

Well College/univeristy is an entirely different experience from high school. So good luck to you. =) Bullies are the worst. :shady:

My worst time was Junior High. -_- 8th grade was a nightmare for me and that was a private christian school. I was bullied. I was spit on my property was destroyed and I got so depressed and anious I got physically ill. It's hard to judge how you will be treated at a public vrsus private school. I had thought I would be happy at a private school. Especially one where we could discuss God. But my hopes were shattered and thats why I attended public high school. I have a friend from universtiry who also attended a private high school for a while and was bullied. I think it depends on if you can fit in or not with the student body.

Junior year just before senior year? I think I'll stick to the numerical names.

Unique... thank God. Some things were good, some bad, but I would never want to relive it.

It happened to me too!! I used to fake being sick at school... but somedays i somehow got a fever and sick for depression. Man, when you are a poor kid at the private school, you are picked on so bad. I had far worse experiences in private school than i ever did at a public school.

Hmm, you weren't under an umbrella school?? With me I'm under a school and I do all my testing with them and they keep all my records and stuff. I'll have an actual graduation with about 100 other homeschoolers and get my diploma and all, so I guess we've just done it completely differently!

thats terrible. My problem was I was the oldest student in the entire school. Which had one class room for each grade starting from k-8. And I wasn't what they expected a 14-15 year old to be like. Plus I didn't talk during worship. I was pretty series about it.

I think the whole thing about weather a school is good is if you can fit in. And being the non conformist I am I couldn't.
