I just want to ask all of you this...

Have you ever been depressed or scared that it started to affect your behavior? Just want to know and ask. Feel free to reply about this.
Thanks!

Yeah. When I feel either of those, I avoid people more than usual if I can't find someone who would take the time to be with me and try to comfort me. It depends who's around. I'll either open up to the person, or go away to be alone if I'm not comfortable going to them with my problems.

Obviously if I'm at work or somewhere where I have to do the whole "leave your problems at home" deal, then it won't outwardly affect me as much in terms of actions. But people can tell by my posture and expressions when something is bothering me even when I'm trying to hide it.

Yes, depression and anxiety aren't just an emotional state, they're very biological (especially depression) and very physically expressed in general. I've noticed this in my own life as well. And often times depression and anxiety are comorbid (occur together), making it even worse.

So yeah, I've experienced what you're talking about, c_hunter, and it's not pleasant.
