Serious Question

Some people grow facial faster then others. Like me, I shave about once every 2 to 3 days. After that, it just looks messy. Also I have brown hair, but my facial hair is like, dark-dark brown. Looks almost black. Though eventually my hair will catch up because it seems to get darker each year. But for now... nah.

But looking at it from their stand-point, I can understand why many women don't like facial hair.

Mechana, Impact, just to let you guys know, you look good with facial hair. XD; But generally I'd prefer no facial hair - unless it looks REALLY good, I just tend to like clean-shaven better. ^^

facial hair is just wierd for me. we used to call my dad mr mustache when he had a beard. he only gets one during the summer.

For me, I prefer none. Although I'm sure it would depend on the guy. If I liked him enough, I'm sure I could overlook it. With work.

Also there are good ways to do facial hair, and bad ways.

Um, by that I mean I think styles like Orlando Bloom's (very trimmed and small) work well (at least on him), and carefully trimmed, salt-and-pepper Sean Connery-type beards work well on older men.

It all depends, really. On the guy, on the style, and on how much you LIKE the guy.

Personally, I think I would prefer no facial hair.

Yeah, Mithrandir grows a beard pretty darn quickly.

So do I, I'm afraid, but it's all scraggly and it looks nasty when I tried a couple times before. Thus, I grab the Norelco and buzz it all off in the morning, every morning.

I generally keep a goatee since i feel comfortable with it. I have quite the baby face, so it offsets that feature.

Unfortunately, bald spots develop if I trim it too closely and my mustache and chin hair doesn't connect just yet.

If the girl that likes me says so, off with the goatee.

Some facial hair looks good on SOME guys. I can't say "all guys look good with a goatee" because frankly, some don't. But as for my opinion on my guy, I like him clean shaven.

Sheesh, I take between two and three showers a day. Because I am crazy.

So do most ppl in my home country, so you can't be crazy (sorry to burst your bubble, Impact). I used to take 2-3 showers a day back then. It may have something to do with the hot and humid weather or we just got accustomed to that habit.

I don't mind facial hair as long as the guy makes an effort to trim it and take care of it (instead of letting it grow rampantly and birds decide to nest in his beard, you know what I mean? ). Some guys look good in them, some don't. I've seen CAA members who look great with facial hair.

My dad has a moustache... my mum hates it because she says it tickles whenever she goes to kiss him (but he has a really bushy moustache). He once grew a beard... which actually looked all right on him, but not great, and once shaved his moustache off and totally scared myself, my brother and sister who'd never seen him without it. While Mum loved the change, we bugged him until he let it grow again.
So... personally, I'm not sure whether I'm for or against facial hair. IMHO a small moustache and/or goatee can look really dashing (but like others have said it depends on the person), but a bushy beard or moustache is not something I'd like. Overall, I like clean-shaven men, but if someone had a neat, small moustache or goatee, that would be really cool.

Well I only have to shave cause of work as an Usher at a fancy Concention Centre so I have to look 'clean' and stuff. But whenever I get the chance I don't shave and usally have a short trimmed 'I-don't-care-how-I-looked-when-I-got-out-of-bed-this-morning' look. Think Chris Martin/Coldplay full beard. It looks good though.

I usually alternate between a small beard and a little square under my lip. (btw im blond) My sister doesn't think it looks gross as long as i keep it relatively small, but i always need something to pull on when i'm acting sage. :-)

I don't like beards on most guys (CDLviking and UC, it works for you two ^^) but I think a well kept "flavor savor" is very handsome. On some facial types, a small goatee is also nice looking. And sideburns (I think) look good on most any guy.

Hm, I am in the minority then. I like facial hair, altho it has to be controled. If it is too wild and crazy, it, erm, hurts. I make fun of some guys who grow it when they are so young tho. Its like, they go off to college, or even before, and they suddenly are facinated with facial hair. And then as soon as they graduate college, they shave it off, cuz it makes them look more mature w/o it. It seems to be "trying too hard" on alot of young guys. But personaly, I like it on my guy.
