Favorite season?: I watch all of Frontier and it was alright in some points, but reaaaally not the best! Adventure, 02, and Tamers all had their own unique points that made them good and special^^

Favorite Digimon: I used to be a HUGE Tailmon/Gatomon fan (cause she's a cat!) Pulled out my figurine of her a while ago and I forgot how cute it is^^ (Even if it is Digimon)

Favorite Digidestined/Tamer: I was also a HUGE Ken fan way back when...

I miss the days when like new eps of 02 were just airing on TV and on mbs we'd discuss all the new epes comign into Japan. Then we all thought Tamers would be icky cause they started with all new characters :/ But hey, it turned out!

Course Digimon is still continuing, in manga form. I think V-Tamer's been done for a while (never did finish reading scanlations...) and not sure if Digimon Chronicles is still going. Never did get into that and I thought that Digimon Evolution X movie was a yawner :/ I really did... (not sure how many others have seen it though)

Man,I sure do wish we had something like Digimon when I was a kid.
I enjoy it and everything but I just wish they had something like it when
I was younger.

As for your questions:
Favorite Season:I like it all but I would vote for the Digimon:Tamers
season(Season 3,I think or was it 4,it depends were there 4 or 5 seasons
in all?)
Favorite Digimon:I'd go along with Gatomon because I like cats but
I would also say Leomon from Tamers because he was always there
for Jeri even though at the beginning he was rather relunctant to become her partner.Then at the end when Impmon attacked in his Evolved form
Leomon stepped in and died saving Jeri.
On the other hand in the Frontiers season I would have to say Kazemon and
Zephrymon(ok that's probably a bit sexist).

^O^\ Ah, just got done watching the first four Digimon movies...I'm completely in love with how Paku Romi played Ken. I'm going into really scary fangirl giggling at the moment. *_*

Anyways, if it hasn't been made obvious already, my favorite season by far is Digimon Adventure 02, though I really enjoyed Digimon Adventure 01, too.

Favorite Digidestined: Again, obviously it's Daisuke, though I've got a serious soft spot for the Digimon Kaizer (before he turned all soft and nice. 8D) and Koushirou. Speaking of Koushirou...does anyone remember that Digimon fansite a long ways back that was dedicated to "the Dark Koushirou"?

Favorite Digimon: Chibimon! ^O^ And probably every form of Veemon thereafter. >.> Shhh....I'm not seriously obsessed with Daisuke...

Frontier...hm, I'd like to see that sometime. I saw some of Tamers and though I liked it, I couldn't get over the thought of losing Daisukeand Taichi. Maybe I'll be able to overcome the shock and watch the other two seasons all the way through.

Favorite season?: Tamers! I remember spending the entire summer counting down till it made it's debut on Fox, the previews were too cool. Overall, I really liked the real world feel and the fact that it wasn't quite a badly massacred during the dubbing (though I can think of a few lame bits *shudder*). In the end though, I especially really loved the new Digimon introduced in 03.

I always did like Impmon... His design just struck me as plain awesome from the first time I saw him.

Did I ever mention how much I appreciate the original seiyuus? o.O I really love Paku Romi...and it's nice to hear all the Digimon without the overblown painfully distinguishable voices. (IE Wormmon's Droopy the Dog wannabe, Armadillomon's cowboy voice, Veemon's apparent lisp...)

I've always wanted to see the original untranslated version, I know alot of people were pretty bugged by Impmon's accent, though I didn't mind it that much. It was pretty strange on Beelzemon tho'. And I do think that Veemon's lisp was kinda cute..

Outta curiosity, has anyone out there done the FDD thing and created their own digimon? I did, I have about four digis and their evolution lines that I designed, plus a few crazy/evil megas. I never really created a digidestined though, outside of one that I hacked together to enter Lyzomon and her champion form into a contest. I really need to upload all my digimon and their stats..

Yup! I made an actual "evolution line" cept mine went from ameoba, to a hermet crab looking thing, to a lizard looking thing, to a dinosaur looking thing with feathers to well, a bird-man pretty much :/ (Just for the record I believed in evo at that time, not anymore o' course!)

I remember way back when there would be AMAZING OUTSTANDING artists that took up much of their time drawing fan makes, one I remember being a mix of 60 different Digis in one! Soooo many people CGed their works and soon after came the oekakis... they must've had like A LOT of time on their hands to create the works that they did... on some Digimon Berry Patch site (or whatever it's called) they have an oekaki baord with the one artist that can make you like, FAINT with her talents of Dejimon oekaki!

(I have to admit that I'm growing to appreciate Frontier more than I did when it came out, but Tamers is still the greatest)

Favorite Digimon: Oh wow. Wizardmon, Gatomon, Renamon, and Ranamon all have good claims for my favorite. I dunno who's number one.

Favorite Digidestined/Tamer: Hmmmmm... Can I pick Ken while he was still the Digimon Emperor?

Favorite Season: I liked the first seaon a lot (with Tai and the other seven digi-destined). I'm not sure what the exact title of the season was called though:sweat:. The second season was also pretty cool.

Favorite Digimon: MetalSeadramon! LOL! I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but he would always roar out "YAY!" at the most inappropriate times. Here's an example...

That and his "River of Power" attack came out of his nose...

But aside from all of that I really liked his design. A really cool digimon yet funny when not supposed to be .

Yay! Fellow FDDers! I'll definitely have to check out your site Blitz, and Tenshi no Ai, I don't suppose you have any artwork of your digimon? I'd love to see it, your digi sounds cool. I miss the old FDD community, and all the artists that came with it. It's a pity I only ever lurked and kept my art to myself.

That's awesome, I never really thought about the fact that he blasts attacks outta his nose..

Also, here's a description of my main created digimon:
Zoemon (baby blue beady eyed head with stubby horns)
Mirromon (violet colored serpent with a yellow mane)
Lyzomon (an upright neon green lizard with a triple row of horns on each side of her head)
Stegoceramon (a blue turtle/dino)
Valkeromon (a humanoid reptilian warrior woman, I call her my 'Xena-wannabe')
Lucidramon/Nocturamon (a good natured, ginormous oriental dragon or a psychopathic long haired chick who's a dark evolution)

I'd love to hear about other people's digis *nods*

Agnemon: a little gray, horned, skull-for-a-head-thing. At one point, he was supposed to have been pieced togetehr from other Digimon like Kimeramon, but I only recently remembered that
Rheamon: A yellow cat with green stripes
Mahoumon: A magenta, fox-like fellow (I messed up a drawing of someone else's Digimon, so I just said it was a new one!)
Deianerimon: An orage catgirl in a darker orage robe w/ a gold medalion
Glaucismon: A sort of mouse thing with bat wings
Pandoramon: Mostly humaniod girl with a black kimono and limp, dragging wings

Glad I'm not the only one who misses the old community. I wonder what happened to some of thsoe people?

Oh, and what I likes about MetalSeadramon was how he could talk without moving his mouth

I know that the digimon movie was generally regarded as a flop, but I must admit that I LOVED it. I saw it the first day it was released and then the next day.

Don't get me started on critics, though. I still get steemed about the review our paper ran of The Movie, in which the reviewer spent most of his time complain about how he didn't get POKEMON.

Um, I created my own... series.
It sorted of connected S2 and Tamers. It was about two twins (who were the sons of Will or whatever his name was from The Movie), and this guy who was sort of a half-Digimon half-human thing with a little water Digimon as a partner.
It also had a cowgirl (who was Mimi's daughter) with a horse-like Digimon and her cousin who had a mechanical Digimon.

They had to defeat this guy named Evimon (who also turned out to be a human) and the true villain later turns out to be one of Evimon's subordinates, Timemon (mega form, Chronomon).

YAY! a Digimon topic!

Fave Season?: Frontier! I've only seen Adventures, 02 and Frontier; but I dubt Tamers has a chance of ousting Frontier as my favorite, because I really liked the concept (turning INTO digimon! about time!) and I really got to like all the main characters, and it includes my all time favorite character. It's also the only season I've seen in japanese.

Fave Digimon: Angemon!!

Favorite Digidestined/Tamer: Shibayama Junpei!! (JP in the dub) The main reason I like Frontier. I also really like Takuya and Mimi from Adventures.

Anyone here support any Digimon romantic pairings? My favorite is Junpei/Izumi, but I also really used to like Tai/Sora, Mimi/Joe, and Davis/Kari

Oo, I recognize Rheamon and Mahoumon! Back in the day I seem to remember coming across your website a few times while I was surfing the FDD community. The other digis that you listed sound pretty cool too.

I also think it's neat that you created an entire series Myoti, now that takes some serious creativity ^_^

Frontier as my favorite, because I really liked the concept (turning INTO digimon! about time!)

I've never been sure how I feel about the whole turning into a digimon vs. having a digimon partner concept. I kinda felt like Frontier was missing something due to the lack of digimon partners, although Bokomon and Neemon did try to fill the gap. The turning into a digimon concept was cool and all, but it didn't entirely click with me. I guess I just liked the idea of having a cool pet creature for a friend.

I'm definitely not meaning to offend anyone though, or put the Frontier fans down, I can understand why you'd like the series. I have to admit, it was sometimes pretty ridiculous during the first two seasons when the digimon were having to do all the fighting. I was sometimes wondering why the digidestined were there, since they didn't seem to do much other than riding their digimon and yelling a bunch

Tamers kinda made a bit more sense with the card slashing, but Frontier really did solve that problem by giving the kids a more active role in battle.
