Ok,I suppose you mean if we could be a member of Teen Titans?
To borrow an idea from Brand X Comics...I'd want to have powers like Rogue in
X Men or else shape shift like Mystique or a combination of them both.

I think we can assume that our choice of powers is limited to what is usually seen in comics, so "omnipotence" and such is out of the question. That would rather cheapen the process.

Given that, I suppose my answer depends upon whether it is truly me being a Titan, or simply a character similar to myself in a fantasy framework. My religion would put me in a very different position than the Titans, and I am uncertain what type of power I would choose in that circumstance. Likely mental abilities that could incapacitate without causing harm.

In the latter case, I would probably like to go with raw destruction. All of the Titan's powers have non-offensive uses]I'd personally be a lot like my avatar, which is a character I created. He acts a lot like me, but he's an android with super strength and armor that gives him some measure of invulnerability.[/quote]

That's not bad, but I have to point out that in Teen Titans everyone seems to have a certain degree of this.

That's true, but why mess with a winning combination? I'd be pretty redundant considering Cyborg's abilities. The major difference is I'd like to think I'd be non-magnetic and a little harder to hack into then Cyborg, although the comedic irony of some of the way's he's been beat has been fun to watch.

On the other hand, you paint two very different pictures. You either utterly destroy or disable with doing no harm, depending on the scenario. I prefer to always do at least a little harm.

Give me speed. Not just the ability to run fast like The Flash, but the ability to THINK fast as well.

I would want to be able to either phase through things or turn invisible or both.

I would have said that myself, but then I realized that most of the people who get super-speed end up moving so fast that you can't see them. Two for the price of one!

However, moving through things would be prett darn sweet (though I think The Flash could do that too, thanks to his speed  )

Yeah, but then he'd leave a hole in it, wouldn't he? Shadowcat wouldn't leave holes in anything.

Nah, if I remember correctly, the Flash was so fast he could like...move his molecules so fast that...something. I don't remember how they explained it. ^^;;

Supposedly, he could vibrate his mollicules so quickly that he could pass harmlessly through other matter. Obviously, it's a pretty hoaky idea, and I don't know how he didn't fall into the center of the Earth.

In the Fast Forward storyline in the comics Wally gets caught up in the Speed Barrier and when he's able to stop he ends up about 1,000 years in the future where everyone is worshipping him.Talk about confused! :dizzy:

No, one person who was the Flash could do that. I also presume he didn't fall through the planet because he was moving forward fast enough that he didn't go down immediately. He couldn't do it over a long period of time, but he could phase through a wall without plummeting to Earth's core.

The Flash can pass through objects by vibrating his molecules at the same rate and frequency as the molicules of the object vibrate. This is a real scientific theory. Wood feels solid to you only because you can not sync the vibration of your molecules to the vibration of the wood's molecules. If you could, you could, in theory, pass through the wood as though it was air. You could also potentially break a peice of wood and then join it back together as though it was never broken.

When the Flash (Wally West) vibrates through objects, he causes the objects to become unstable at the atomic level and they explode shortly after. Kid Flash (Bart Allen) can pass through objects with no adverse effects.

However, the comic books have recently stopped using these abilities. It seems the current writers and editors don't particularly like vibrating through things so it could be that the Flashes can no longer do it - at least until another creative team takes over.

Anyone who detests Raven has to see "Nevermore." Great episode.

Does anyone else love the references to Edgar Allan Poe here? 'Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."' It's beautiful. *eyes well up with tears*

Teen Titans is not my type of story. The writers seem to get close to an interesting plot and then shy away. I'd rather read a book.

My favorite character is Robin. Ariel, my little sister, loves this series and wants me to take quizzes often. For some reason I keep getting "Raven" every time! It is always the same. When I see the description, I deny it. My parents nod and laugh. :eyebrow:

I don't know. That sounds exactly like something Raven would do.

Man, we could fill up a whole page with quotes on the last page on this very subject... if we were lazy.

Unanswered questions concerning Teen Titans:
1.Where does Robin get all that hair gel?

2.Doesn't anyone have anything else to wear?

3.How come Cyborg has never "accidentally" eaten BB?

4.Who pays the rent?

5.Where does BB get all that tofu and how come no-one has dumped it by now?

1. SUPER market... ehhehehheh...
2. Yeah...Robin wore a tux. Raven has a white getup. I think we saw people in sleeping gear once or twice.
3. He's smarter than that.
4. Cyborgs dad built the tower theoretically... it could be him.
5. same place as the hair gel... and everyone else is too afrad of it and BB (he can KILL YOU by sitting on you)...it could be respect for his beliefs too..

I have a real question, actually. Have we ever seen ordinary law-enforcement in this cartoon? Both in the sense of a police force and a military. I can't remember either, but I don't watch this show regularly.

I have a non-real question as well: what is the square root of negative one?

And another one that actually applies: how much property damage have the Titans caused in their careers?

I wonder about this a lot, actually. I'm sure it makes the show easier to animate, though.

Really? I don't ever remember any pajamas. Every time I recal seeing anyone sleeping, they were just wearing their usual costume (which is pretty goofy, really)

There have been a few episodes that feature some guys in slightly futuristic armor who seem to be law enforcement of some sort. That or security guards.

THAT'S a good one, they do tend to leave a lot of rubble in their wake, don't they? Remember in The End part 1 where Cyborg threw an entire BUILDING at Plasmus?
