Mechana2015 - Hahah .. you are right! 40k is really referring to the price of how much it costs you to play the games.

A former work colleague was really into this stuff. He spent 500 (AUD) to get his army, codices, paints and other stuff. He said he felt somewhat guilty in that whenever he went into the shops he saw kids staring at the models but not being able to afford them, while he took out his credit and kept buying .. to which I replied "So you should be. ;p"

Shadowchild - How small are those boat models? I cannot paint anything on any surface, period. Well, except maybe the walls around the house.

By the way, does anyone wanna post thumbnails of their "best" model to this thread (assuming this is acceptable practice)?

i think it's a great idea! But i don't have a digital camera... darn it. My bro does though. i'll ask him if he can take some pics. i might have some posted in a couple days... Maybe. but, yes, that's a great idea.
