By that I mean, series you are currently collecting - buying at the store, etc.

Right now I'm buying:

Rurouni Kenshin
Fruits Basket
Whistle

I don't really have enough money for any more titles :sniffle: And I will probably stop altogether for a while because I am saving up for an iPod ( 1/6th of the way there! XD)

Oh and Ash, I've read a couple volumes of the Esca manga. Personally I'm not too terribly impressed. It's on the fanservicy side and it's absolutely nothing like the anime. :sweat: Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I echo Kokoro about Escaflowne. . . I didn't read much, but it wasn't really anything like the Anime at all, and it seemed like there was probably going to be a good bit of fanservice scattered throughout the series (considering the amount that was in the first couple of chapters. . .) But who knows, maybe it got better and I quit reading it before it happened.

I heard that there were 2 types of Escaflowne manga. A shounen one and a shoujo one and that was... most likely the shounen one^^ If that's true, then I wonder if they'll ever license the other one.

Like TodesKreuz, I have read Saiyuki and am now awaiting vol. 1 of Saiyuki Reload. I am also reading Trigun Maximum (T-Max vol. 6 comes out tomorrow, I believe). I'm following One Piece so far, too, but I can see it going on a good deal longer than I'd want to keep up with it for, so I think I'll stop buying it after Sanji joins Luffy's crew and the "Baratie" story arc ends.

You see correctly. The series is nearing chapter 375, and it is more or less the same as it was back at the Baratie (though I actually haven't read all of it and I'm not keeping up with it, so I could be wrong).

Yeah! I like it a lot ^^ It is a little graphic at some points and startled me a bit, but I'm naturally easily startled anyway so it probably isn't that strange XD I love the art style though and the characters are really creative. You can read the entire first volume at gomanga.com instead of buying it if you want to also.
