I don't have the steady hand required for painting, so I don't build models. Now, if there were prepainted ones, I'd probably do those.
Ultra Magnus wrote:Esoteric - yeh the Titan Lego kit is pretty good. I personally would stay away from the ball joints, because in my "Lego Ethic" (lol) this is "cheating". Must build joints using Technic pegs, I tell myself.
You may know about this site, but it features many Lego creations by various people:
http://www.brickshelf.com/
http://www.mocpages.com used to host Lego creations too, but I think it's gone down either due to too much server traffic or lack of donations.
Cheers.

I used to have dinosaur models when I was a kid.
Anyone else remember those?
I also once did a small model of the Jupiter 2 from Lost In Space which
was one of the hardest I ever did.
And I have two models of the original Enterprise.
The NCC 1701(No bloody A..B..C..OR D! )

Esoteric wrote:By a layout, do you mean a diarama? My brother was into those once. He bought a book on building them and made one with a WWII howizter platoon. It was cool!
Heero yuy 95 - Check out the model shops in your local "Chinatown" area if there is one, as Hong Kong model shops used to stock a lot of these anime style models (probably still do) and sometimes ship them to Chinatown model shops that are overseas.

Mechana2015 - So you're building Warhammer (the fantasy style) models? Not Warhammer 40k by any chance? I think 40k stuff looks great, but it's really expensive.
