Ratings for Members' Webmanga

Postby Mave » Sun Jul 31, 2005 3:19 pm

I was wondering whether it might be a good idea to have everyone who posts their webmanga to provide some form of ratings for their manga (e.g. age ratings, "Contains strong language, some violence" etc).

That's actually not a bad idea at all...

Might a miniature version of our manga reviews system be in order? I mean only at the beginning of webmanga threads, but I think that system covers possible content rather well.

I like it, UC. Do any of you mangaka artists seriously object to this?

No objections here...

...why am I responding to this? I don't have a webmanga...XD

SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

You have the power to say anything you want, so why not say something positive?

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

In that case, I say we implement right away. Excellent idea, Mave!

I may not have a webmanga, but I suppose I could do the same for Stand Around Complex. I shall do so when I have the time.
