Do you ever feel invisable

Hmm I just reply to interesting looking posts...I want to meet everyone, but this forum is so big, it's impossible. So, yeah, forums are OK up to a point, and sometimes you write the wrong things or people are rude, and man does that upset me. I prefer it if users just post interesting stuff, there are just SO many posts though.

I really love Anime Uk News forum though, it's a cute little place and everyone is really close.

I feel invisible. I actually feel pretty lonely most of the time. Considering all my friends are 2 states away from me. There have been several threads where I've said something and then someone said the same thing later on. ANd no one even acknowledges me when I say it bbut they acknowldge the other person. This hurts my feeling. Especially in the one thread where these two guys decided that they were the only 2 people in the thread contributing information. I may be weird but I just want to talk to people.

Aww, I always notice when you post Kazekami, if it's any consolation. If ya ever want to talk, feel free to PM me, I always love getting to know other CAAers better ^_^

Sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in your own train of thought and overlook other peoples' posts. I'm trying to get over that habit. Often times, the best way to feel more included is to include others first. I know you have all probably heard this before alot, but it's true. I find that if I'm being ignored, it helps to start focusing on what others are saying and replying to their posts (it's more conversational then). And if that doesn't work, the other people are likely at fault.

Why thank you..........At home I am in a youth leadership group...were we talk about how to run are yourth group....what games to play..and much more.....I try to voice my Ideas but they seem to not hear me. It drives me crazzy.....that my Ideas are not being talked about or just say that is a good Idea but it will not work....they just ingnore me.....oh well that is what I get for bing a nice person and not be rude and buge in to voice my ideas.

Thats pretty cool that your in a youth leadership group. It's definately not fun when no one listens to your ideas.

My grandparents and aunts and uncles all talk over me. They never believe anything I say to them about what I learned in at Universtiy or researched especially my grandpa who likes to watch documentaries. I find it very frustrating. My one Uncle always changes the subject if I try to join in the conversation. It's exreamely frustrating especaially because when I talked to my proffessurs at school they treated me entirely differently when I discussed things with them. Oh well.

I do have 6 frends. They are really wonderful friends. But they are far away.

One thing I've noticed is that if there is a prayer thread or testimony thread, people don't read the later posts.

If you have something similar to share, you're probably better to start your own thread, or just PM someone. I mean if you don't want to be ignored. Sometimes I've read through threads (generally old ones) and I'm amazed that no one noticed the other stuff below the first post.

I think they just read what the person said and assume the rest is encouragement and add their own to it.

I think you are right about people doing that. But think they do other places too in the forums besides the ones you mentioned. For instance the section where I felt most ignored was a thread on the gameing forum. NOt reading all the post in a thread is probably why this can happen. When I join a thread I read all the post I haven't read so I can see what is going on. But it can be teadious when there are a lot of post to read.

Yeah, I have a bad habit of not reading the whole thread, because it's too long or something... But I've been trying not to do that lately. Because it's really annoying when people do that, I know how it is, but.... yeah.

you knwo there are times when it probably crosses everyones mind on here...there are times i also wonder what people think of me and such, but when it comes down to it i really have meet few people on this site who really try to be rude...or not pay attation to anyone on perpose, and most people really do care and try to get to know people on the other end...it will be hard to get to know everyone...but hey start with one or two people at a tiem...and what, not then you will start to make friends here
