Mongolia has excellent barbecue.

Kidding, kidding.

Mongolia's total area is 1,564,116 sq km, which is slightly smaller than Alaska.

Mongolia has no coastline and it has 8,220 km of borders. Of these it has 4,677 km bordering china and 3,543 km bordering Russia

Yay got second this time. :) This isnt on purpose, but I've just realised that we both used the same site to get our information. Is that allowed?

I feel pretty good. I've changed from just being the last racer to check in successfully to the second racer to check in. :) This race is fun ^_^

We can use the same site. We'd all be elimanted in the first round, if you couldn't!

You can always thell the up-and-coming countries by a high literacy rate. Mongolia's is 97.8% and they are doing very well economically having recently settled its debt with Russia. It could be a powerful force for change in Asia.

Thanks. I feel great. GP tried to sneak one through on me, but I found it in the knick of time!

It's probably bad luck to finish a leg after Kura, but I won't let the stop me in the next leg.

Mongolia is a vast country of mountains, lakes, deserts and grasslands. It peacefully abandoned its communist system in 1990 and has successfully made the transition to a parliamentary democracy. Economic reforms continue.

Amarbayasgalant Khiid is considered one of the most important monasteries in Mongolia. It's also one of the most beautiful. It was originally built in 1737 by the Manchurian king Kansu, who dedicated it to the great Mongolian Buddhist and sculptor, Zanabazar.

You beat Alice in. Unless GP disqualifies an answer, she'll be eliminated.

Ahem. *takes microphone from Syaoran* ;)

Alrighty, I've reviewed your facts and they're all legit. (Even yours, Alice, for what it's worth, ) But, as Termyt said, Alice is eliminated. A big hand of applause for her reaching the third round! *clap clap clap* The rest of you, we're going to have a 2 day break over the weekend, as some people are going to be gone. We'll start back in on Monday for the final four (or so) rounds.

OK, I don't know what everyone else's definition of "Weekend" is but mine includes Sunday (I was one of the people that couldn't do the Amazing Race over the weekend).

Anyway, I hate to be the bearer of good news (For someone else that is ;) ) but I am in fact the last one to arrive at the checkpoint, therefore Alice is still alive.

I can't belive that you guys forgot about me..... :sniffle: :sniffle:

Boy, is my face red.

Good thing Alice was diligent in giving a fact because mastersquirrel is right. He is the last to check in and Alice should still be in the race. GP will have to make an official ruling, but once he does, he may want to PM Alice and let her know if she is still in.

I sorry for causing a problem. I just counted the number of racers still in the race as they appeared in the first post of this thread. That number was 7. Alice was the seventh racer to respond, so I assumed she was out.

However, kaemmerite’s name was not on that list and he did respond with an answer.

I’m not sure why kae wasn’t on the list, it appears to be a simple error since he was still in at the end of Checkpoint 2.

Sorry for the trouble, everyone.

I didn't even really look at my checksheet. Between Termyt's statement and Alice's post, I didn't really think about it.

GP will have to make an official ruling, but once he does, he may want to PM Alice and let her know if she is still in.

Hint, hint. ;)

So yes, Alice is in, Mastersquirrel is out. (Sorry, Mastersquirrel! Didn't mean to forget you. :thumb: )

And it's fine, Termyt. No damage caused, really. :jump:

Well, I had already stepped on your toes enough by hinting Alice would be eliminated in the first place. I don't want to do that again.

Kudos it mastersquirrel for standing up and preventing a grievous error.

Well when I saw the thread I thought, "Aw man they went on!" And then when I looked and saw ya'll saying that Alice was gone I was slightly confused. I had to go and look to make sure I hadn't posted anything in my sleep or something. Then I felt that it was my duty to bring the mistake to your attention.

Too bad I'm out though... I'll try harder next time!!!
