Like many others, I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Which means I'm having to be very careful about my internet surfing. Stoopid spoilers are out to get me, they keep popping up left and right. I'm even having to watch where I click on the CAA.

The Zombie Survival Guide sounds interesting, hopefully it won't ever come in handy...

I'm about to start Essentials of New Testament Greek revised, written by Ray Summers and revised by Thomas Sawyer. It's a new interest of mine which I view as a useful body of knowledge.

argh. I hated "Gulliver's Travels". I remember going home and complaining very passionately to my Mom about it.

But I was in 4th grade, so I may have been a bit young. I'd like to try it again sometime.

I'm a book nerd, in case anyone couldn't tell.

That's about when I read it too. But then again, I liked that book. Anyways, right now I'm reading 'The Tiger Claw' by Shauna Singh Baldwin. So far it's one that I highly recommend. :thumb:

About halfway through Heart of Darkness. It's a little tricky in places.

I found a book by Project 86's Andrew Schwab about life on tour. It's called "It's All Downhill from Here - On the Road with Project 86". It's really entertaining and well-written. If you're a Project fan, you should definitely own this.

It's taking me a while because I read it at work during my downtime, but I'm impressed with the book so far. I can't wait to see how it develops! :D

Going Postal by Terry Prachett

In case you can't tell, I'm reading his series quite a bit recently. Unlike usual, I didn't like the main character, but the book was still enjoyable.

My favourite Discworld books have always been the Samuel Vimes books. I respond to those than any of his other mini-series' in his works.

Gods And Generals by Jeff Shaara.Really good and easy Civil War era historical
novel to read.Although General Lee seems to come across a bit too politically
naive.

I've read Night Watch but none of the others about Samuel Vimes (personally one of my favorite characters, though I also like Lord Vetinari and Death... and, oddly enough, Mr. Pump of Going Postal). Are there others have focus on him somewhat? By mini-series' do you refer to other sets of characters on the Disc, or different worlds entirely?

kewl - you should love animal farm, it's one of my faves...
right now I'm reading Angels and Demons and the Divinchi Code...which isnt really a good idea since both feature the same main character and I've been getting the two mixed up. good books but sorta iffy from a Christian perspective..
