CAA Skins: Lite or Dark?

I just switched from Lite back to Default and the difference is shocking!
That got me thinking, "I wonder what skin everyone else uses"?

So, which do you choose? The Lite...or the Dark Side?

Lite... I've gotten used to it now.

edit: wooaah I just switched it to default and it looks so different! I like it better this way, but since it took longer to load, I'm switching back to lite

i prefer dark i went over CR-chans house to pick up manga and i saw her screen was different so i asked how to do that. at first i didnt like it but now i cant stand seeing CAA with out it

I like lite, partially because I like how it looks... and also my internet connection from the house stinks big time.

I use Lite primarily because it puts less strain on the servers. The skin isn't an important detail to me, but overall I think the Dark skin looks a bit nicer.

I don't know, I like lite better. Just... whiter.

Wish there was a dark-lite version though. Like lite, except dark in colour, so there's no server strain.

I actually like both, but the lite skin is much less stressful on both my connection and the servers, so efficiency wins

I use the lite skin, primarily because it lightens the load on the server. I had used the dark skin for a while after Lite was available as I prefered the look. I might give it another try.

I stayed lite after I got used to it when it was changed for bandwith sake a couple months ago

I don't really like it as much, but I went to lite to spare the servers some bandwidth and it helps when connecting from home using a dail-up.

Lite is too bright for my taste, but I don't see myself going back to default any time soon.

I use the Dark skin, because it was the one I had always used and I think the other is too bright. ^.^ But, to each his/her own.

I use to use dark for a long time. Then I switched to lite to see what its like. I never went back to the default. The default takes longer to load than the Lite.
Plus the lite is just so clean XD

Whatever is simple, easy on the eyes and works fast. Lite it is.

Wow, I'm very surprised. I thought everyone used Default. You're right though, Lite does load a lot quicker.

you can change the skin on the screen by going to user CP then edit options go down to the bottom where it says forum skins or something like that and thats where you can change it

Haha! I felt the same way when I first switched. Trust me, the lite side is better...it just takes some getting used to! :grin:

I only remember a skin prior to our VBulletin update, and my memories are that it was more or less like the Dark skin. Of course, prior to having our own domain there were plenty of different backgrounds, but that was before my time.

lite.

it really sped things up when I was on dial up, and I figgured I wqouls help the caa server by keeping it now that I have broadband.
