Oh...(ahem), well, in that case I'd go for a more neon blue instead of an indigo to stand out more from that black. But if you want it sort of blended, than indigo is the way to go!
being goth in itself isn't evil but most symbols associated with Goths are satanic. So if your wearing a pentagram then yeah your pastor has a point, but if not the pastor shouldn't worry about it. And I doubt it's a big deal to the pastor anyway maybe he just wanted to make a comment.

I think it would be cooler if you did black-black with bright blue streaks. Cuz' just one color is waaaaaaaay too boring. That and it would give your pastor something to really complain about (j/k).

I asked her "what do you think if i dyed it blueblack?" and one of the pastors there turned to me (i wasnt even addressing him) and said 'i would think you had problems (as in inner issues).' and i said 'waht do you mean?' and he said 'you would look too gothic, and you cant be gothic and christian at the same time.' i got really offended, because um, i believe you CAN be gothic and christian at the same time.
gothic...is really just a style now. personally i like the style, i have quite a few gothic friends, in fact, almost all of them are punky or gothic.
does anyone else share my view?
ummmm...Your pastor has tattoos and he's worrying about your hair??? I could just say that i don't have a problem with tatoos, but why not when I have a court date tomorrow morning (speeding, not cannibalism) and a massive paper with presentation due on Tuesday? I'm not sleeping!!!

an ankh is cross shaped like a T with a loop at the top, especially as used in ancient Egypt as a symbol of life. Also called ansate cross.
Why the goths have adopted this symbol is what I wonder....
It seems to be the opposite of death which they hold as an ideal.
