1. nothing because I just happened to go to the most romance dead school of all time. Just attending there probably made that I won't ask a girl out for 5 years. Man I had xenophobia big time at that place.

2. Everyone had thier own style. Oh one thing were those stupid armband things for Lance Armstrong's <omitted> cancer. I had one for my team (the Baltimore Orioles).
A country dude had "Git R Done" and it went on and on. Man I still have that thing. I wore the Lionheart necklace so I guess that makes up for the wrist band thing.
Justice divine has weighed: the doom is clear. All hope renounce, ye lost, who enter here.

1) We are allowed to hold hands...and supposedly thats it. Hugs are ok; teachers don't care about hugs. But some people get away with a lot more. A LOT more.

2) Sweat Armbands, those little rubber bracelets, cell phones, etc
"Ah, look, Kouryuu...the birds are returning north. Can you see? ...Kouryuu. Who do you suppose decided birds are free? They can fly wherever they choose...but if there's no branch for them to return to...they might regret having wings, don't you think? Perhaps true freedom...is having a home to return to."

(note above omission, Ky) Please try having a little respect for people.

SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

You have the power to say anything you want, so why not say something positive?

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

1. I went to a private Christian school, so the main rule was "six inches" (between a boy and girl) or as one teacher used to say, "no touchy-touchy." However shortly after I left, the rule became that boys and girls couldn't even sit at the same table. Glad I graduated.

2. Trends...er...cell phones, heelies (sneakers with a roller blade wheel at the back), backpacks with speakers in them, girls wearing AVON stuff. Oh, and anime on the sly. At least in my group. Which was not the popular group.

Now, now, Osaka-nee, that's a little harsh. Really, the trends at co-op are button up shirts tucked in with a belt. Just to set the record straight.
But she wasn't lying about the PDA aspect. One time a board mom made an announcement in morning chapel about how there wa too much male/female socializing. By socializing does she mean kissing? Hugging? Even hand-holding? No. She means there were too many guys and girls eating lunch together. Ooooh, now there's a crime. . .

My co-op is the same way. Albeit the bossy and over-protective moms, I love it. The environment is so safe. I never have to worry about someone trying to hurt me or beat me up. Not once has anyone called me something nasty. I haven't been in a fight since my mom pulled me out of school!

The only thing that bugs me is when the kids complain about how homeschooling is so boring, and that they want to go to public school. If the schools here are anything like the ones I've been to, they had better start writing out their will!
