July Photography contest!!

Hello,
as promised there is going to be a photo contest for July. I moved the thread out of the art corner because it just didn't feel like it belonged and because I think there might be more people who take pictures in the general forum than in just the art corner.
This month's theme is flowers!!
You must be the one to actually take the picture.
I suggest linking your entry to this thread using imageshack.
Good luck, the deadline is July 23.
You are allowed 2 entries each.
I'll ask volt to judge again if he is up for it.

BTW, what kind of cameras do ya'll have.
I just got a Kodak EasyShare DX6490. The auto focus up close is sometimes hard and on the atuo shoot mode there is some blur at mid. to long range distances. But all this is usually remedies in the PASM mode where you can set the levels and stuff yourself.

Flowers are a very hard thing to photograph around here considering that its winter and they're all dead. ;)

Yes, I see your skills are improving. Final Straw is a sweet album. I also really like a group called the Postal Service. They only have one album out (give up is its name) but I hope they keep making more music.

No, my house. The Flowers arn't quite so nice in Roswell, its in a desert after all. Besides why would I be in Roswell? Sheesh! people aske the oddest questions sometimes.
