I really just use whatever avatar is a cool picture and something I like. I had L for awhile, but now its Miyavi. I think I'm gonna change it soon though.

My avatar is none other than Genrei from Giant Robo, which I need to watch before Impact Alberto kills me.

I actually used it as my avatar because it was a dare from the CAA chat truth or dare. Alice told me to use a Ginrei avatar for three days. I found this picture and fell in love with it. I think she's beautiful in this picture, and it's also very feminine because of the roses. I'm a very feminine person. My interests are tomboyish, but I'm pretty prissy when it comes down to it. She's pretty and feminine, but she's rocking a gun. It reminded me of myself, because I used to go straight home in my dress up clothes from work and get online and play Halo Live for Xbox. Sitting on the floor in a skirt. xD Anyway, I rather like the avatar, so I stuck with it. :)

First of all, I almost always have avatars with characters I like on them. Thus they're mostly all Trigun and mostly Knives-sama. ^^; But I also like to fit them with my current over-all mood. As you can probably see, I've noticed I've been a bit angry and moody lately. Probably from the tension of my mom yelling at me all the time, but we won't get into that.

I play internet Halo! Are people who use computers and people who use Xbox able to play together?

My avatar is Hatori from fruits basket. I am almost done watching the series(only episodes left), and Hatori is my favorite character so far. I'm trying to make a habbit of changing my avatar every so often, so I thought this would be a good change.

Currently my avatar is of Makunouchi Ippo, from "Figthing Spirit" (AKA: Hajime no Ippo). I decided to change mine to him because I can really relate to him. It's a transformation of a shy guy with no confidence to a strong person (physically and emotionally). Oh, plus I love sport animes :)

Then I also use Onizuka from "Great Teacher Onizuka" as well. The other reason I like him is that he's just cool. On the outside he looks like another problem maker, but in fact has a really big heart for his students. He teaches people to never give even when things seem impossible and to take responsiblity for their own actions. He has great character.

The main reason why I use them both is because I can personally relate to both in a sense. Also, both titles on the top of my favorites lists... :P

Mine avatar Lunis made for me and it was better than any picture I could find, so I stuck with it. I wrote a song for my friend and it does mention donuts in the first verse, so I guess that's how it relates to me or whatever.

My avatar is Kagura from Fruits Basket. When I joined this site I immediately knew I either wanted a Full Moon avatar, because it's my favorite anime, or a Fruits Basket avatar, because it's my favorite manga. But because Osaka-nee (as in the mangafanatic one) already had a Full Moon one, she told me I couldn't have one (well, not really, she just said it would be a little weird.) And then I wanted a Kyo one, because he's my all-time biggest manga crush, but Osaka said that because nobody knew me they'd all look at my avatar and think I was a boy. So then I settled for this picture of Kagura because it's pretty! Ha ha, and I like Kagura too, even if she does torment Kyo. So I guess partly I could draw a parallel and say I chose this avatar because both Kagura and I are in love with Kyo. But I really didn't think about it that much.

Now I can't change my avatar because I've had it for like the entire four months I've been a member here and I think I find my identity in it. So yeah, I'm just weird.

My avatar (currently chibi-neko-Nicholas) is a remnant of the avatar-and-sig set I used to have, which featured chibi-neko Nicholas and Vash, looking like cute abandoned kittens in a cardboard box that said "Please take" in hirigana. If you want to know, it was a scan of the back cover of a Trigun doujinshi called "Chocolate Smile" that I want very badly.

I need to change my av, really. It's not that I don't like it (in fact, I think it's adorable), but it looks a little out-of-place without its signature counterpart. But I'm too lazy to make a new one right now and I don't like pre-made ones. XD;; As for how it relates to me, that should be obvious. It's my darling Nicholas.
Think happy thoughts.

Mine is Mitsuki Sanada the central heroine of Dual!Parallel Troubles Adventure and one of my top favorite female anime characters of all time. :thumb:
I could also have used an avatar of her parallel world counterpart
Mitsuki Rara since they're both Mituski but of the two I love Mitsuki Sanada
better.
Significance?
Well Mitsuki Sanada is the type of girl I want to marry. :thumb:

>:D The power I hold. Actually I believe I said, "any character from Giant Robo other than Alberto." Then I suggested Ginrei as a possibility. Or something.

It's cool you decided to keep it. :D (At least for now.) :)

Oh my goodness, I had that exactly same avatar a month or so ago!!! (Isn't it darling?)

....

And MY avatar is Professor Go from Giant Robo.

I chose him because 1) I like him, and 2) he reminds me of myself in some ways. *sniffle*

Yes, Ginrei was a suggestion xD I had forgotten about that. And yes, I'm keeping it....for now n_~ I'm sure I'll find something else that suits my fancy xD

My very first avatar when I joined was Kureno from the Fruits Basket manga. I kept that for a LONG time, then I switched to Kyou. I adore Kyou as well :D There was a touch of confusion here and there about my gender, but not too much of one xD It did happen, though. Kaemmerite has some interesting stories about his experiences with that as well.

My avatar is my Pembroke Welsh Corgi Diina. She paid me three milkbones to put it up.

Actually, it's my favorite breed and she's my first. I've always liked her Einish appearance. It's the second avatar I've had here and I can't bring myself to change it.

candles...

when I put up my new picture, I was going through some rough times. Candles are peaceful to me. Just burning quietly, steadily. Beautiful, particularly when they are some of or the only light source in a room.

But, I think I was drawn to them then maybe for burning a candle for the problem. Like the saying goes, "burning a candle in the window" waiting to see what would happen. But, that time is over now. I am finally alright. That situation no longer matters to me. :) So, I think I will soon change it when I get the urge.

The avatar I used when I first came to CAA was of Kasuga Takashi, the father on the anime series Kimagure Orange Road. It was a picture of him sitting in a chair reading a newspaper. He looked somewhat like me at the time with a mustache and galsses. I think I used that one for about 5 or 6 months and then switched to my current.

Actually, the reason why I choose this particualr one was because I couldn't find any better pictures at the time and now I'm just to lazy to search for any pictures that might be better in my opinion.

The cover of Alice Cooper's From the Inside album. It is one of my fav AC albums and just a really cool, creepy image. If you look at a bigger version, you see the asylum doors superimposed on his face and an image of all the crazy people in his eyes. The album was inspired by Alice's stint in a mental hosiptal (checked himself in for alcoholism) and the people in there. What does this say about me? I don't think I want to know.
