Do you ever wonder...?

Postby Silvanis » Wed Jul 06, 2005 7:45 pm

Sometimes I wonder if CAA-ers are in the same place as me. I'll be at the mall or somewhere and look around and ask myself "Do I know this person from CAA, but not know they're them?"

Do you wonder this too?

No because I know of only a handful that are from my state so unless they were passing through....:P

Although I am still pretty new here, I actually have wondered that before. I mean, there really wouldn't be any way to tell. So, it's possible that two people from CAA have passed by each other without knowing it. Kind of unlikely, but I find it interesting to think about anyway.

YES! I wonder that all the time! Like I wonder if sometime somebody might say, "You know, you remind me a lot of this chick I know named *. . . .*," and I'll freak out and be like, "Who the heck are you and how do you know me?!?!?!?!"

I've met quite a few CAA'ers in my area/state. A few came to Oni-con, Turbocat lives in the city next to me so we've met for lunch a few times...but perhaps the strangest story of all was when I met the member who shall be unnamed for their own good who goes to my church. See, they let me borrow their spiral dvds, and they asked me if I ran a website. I said yes, wondering where it was going. They said, is it CAA? I said yes, and they told me their screenname. It was kinda funny, actually.

I could think of at least ten that I've seen at the same time

Last year I was on tour throughout the US with my Bible College's choir and orchestra. We were at a new church in a new city every night for three weeks and I did kinda wonder if mebbe there were CAAers out in the congregation.

Other than that, I don't think of it too often. I don't think there's too many CAA people living in my province, let alone the exact same town. So the odds are kinda against it.

I haven't met anyone from the CAA in person, although I have played with a few of them on Xbox Live. :thumb:

With a huge technology industry presence within a few dozen miles of my house, I am surprised that I haven't met more CAA people that are from Virginia. I know of only a few, and I haven't met any of them.

I haven't really met anyone in person, but then again, I've never really asked.

There's enough Mainers in CAA so me and the Gypper could hold a LAN party for all of them.

I was in the same area as JMAN last week and never could find him. His cell died and mine didn't work so we couldn't call each other, but we both knew that we were there somewhere, amoung "100,000" other people up on the side of a PA mountian, but we never could find each other. :shady:

I suspect that I have at some point in my life seen a fellow CAAer due to the fact that my state seems to have a large number of them, but I as of yet have not actually knowingly met one. I do wonder about it sometimes.

I've wondered a few times...I've met about four or so members in real life. But I wonder every once in a while if any of the Colorado members live near me.

But I do think about it, especially when I go to very public places, with lots of tourists or something. Also, I think about it alot when I am on the public bus, I don't know why.
