How did you discover CAA?

Talk about anything in here.

Postby TheMelodyMaker » Wed Jul 06, 2005 3:37 pm

I did no searching for CAA at all. Ashley's shameless plugs about it at Anime Angels made me curious and I got sucked into the link.

LOL, I was on The-Oro.com's Heart of a Sword forums, and so was ChristianRonin. She told me that she'd posted some of her art on a Christian anime site, and so I asked her for the link! XD Thanks again, CR! ^_^ Anyways, I love this place!! n_nv

I googled "christian anime" because I was curious if there was any out there. This was the top link, I clicked it and the rest is history!

I'm another searcher for 'Christian Anime', and excuse me for saying so (and perhaps stating the obvious) but it seems like there might well be a massive market for Christian Anime. I don't know how many times I've thought the style of anime could do an amazing job of conveying the life of a devout Christian.

I just can't wait to see something released. Glad to have the online manga that exists so far though!

I was searching for Christian webcomics/webmanga; found Psychoteers and saw the link to something called 'CAA'. Curious as I was, I clicked the link and... well.... I found the craziness that is Christian Anime Alliance XD

Someone referred me here from AnimeNation, because I had made a topic asking about anime that are good for Christians to see.

There was a site that had a vicious attack making fun of the CAA forums. It made me wonder though... so many of the people I knew on anime forums were viruently anti-Christian, and most of my fellow Christians were viruently anti-anime, so I was looking to find some place where I could be both a Christian and an anime fan...

Been here over six months with no regrets...

I was actually on MSN groups looking for Christian Anime forums, and this was one of the links I found. Apparently CAA was a MSN Group at one time...

Amen to that. I would love to see us turn out some material eventually. I know we have a few manga projects in the work, and the potential for some animation. This is obviously a growing market in our culture, and I would love to be some of the first to jump on it and impact it for Christ.

I used Google. Like so many others. I am your father. That last sentence is a lie, but I wanted more than just a monosyllabic response. I hope you will forgive me.

Because anime is just now making mainstream popularity in America, an onslaught of Christian anime in the future.... but I believe it will happen.

Azier's Prediction: (Time periods may not be accurate)

10 years: Anime has conquered America as a mainstream form of entertainment. American companies begin making American anime.

10 more years: Christians have infiltrated the anime scene. Christian anime is a reality.

I found it through randomly deciding to google search christian anime. Oh, how suprised and blessed I was when I clicked on the first link and was directed to the CAA main page. I have been continually blessed through this ministry since.

(Sorry if there is already an existing thread for this, I did a search but couldn't find anything.)

thats the exact same way i found it. It was a lot different then, there was no manga reviews board, no pictures area, no sports area no book area and the home page was different. I like it better now tho. :) :) :) :)
