ooo, I kinda like Anne Perry (her Monk mysteries, anyway). Is it a mystery?

I'm reading "Remembered Death" by Agatha Christie. (Yes, still on a Christie kick.)

Shockrockets
It's a graphic novel with only an average amount of text and a plot that isn't terribly deep, but it's good science fiction and I enjoyed the first volume of it. Had it been longer it might have taken me longer to read than some books have.

I'm such a goober. My mom asked me to read this *sorta* children's book about math. It's about this kid who hates math, and has twelve dreams about this little dude called The Number Devil (incidentally, the name of the book), who teaches him math using coconuts and rabbits and pyramids. It's okay, but I don't think it explains the concepts very well - I was getting confused about simple stuff like factoring the way they explained it.

hmm i have never heard of that one. did you know the one i was talking about? she really is a good writer. its nice to read from a christian author instead of all the secular ones i have to read in school.

I've heard of it, I haven't read it. I believe I've only read two or three of her books, The Atonement Child and Leota's Garden, anyway. I forget the title of another one I read.

yea you should really read them its a 5 book collection about 5 unlikely women who stand up for God in the Bible. its the first book ive read of hers and i really like it so far.

I find her books to be a little bit intense. So I never want to start one unless I'm in the mood for something heartwrenching. Maybe her Bible ones won't be like that, though. Oh well, I'll have to look into it. Thx!

yea seriously ive only gotten thru the first 50 pages of unveiled tamar
and its really intense. but yea read em and tell me whatcha think. maybe i'll read the ones u suggested as well. i love summer reading.

francines second book in the 5-part series, Rahab and in the Bible-Joshua. i have never read this book and its so exciting!

Terry Pratchett's The Last Hero

It is in an unusal format, and every page has artwork (sometimes these are even critical to the story). However, I believe its wordcount is comparable to most novels, so I consider it such, albeit in a slightly different form. As usual, it was an enjoyable read.

I am about a fourth of the way through "Ivanhoe" by Sir Walter Scott. An older book and a fairly decent fiction set in the medievil era.

One of the greatest books of all time.

currently I am reading Canned Laughter:The Best Stories From Radio And
Television by Peter Hay.It's an analogy of ancedotes from the early days of
radio to the '90s.

Just finished The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale yesterday. It's a really good book, and I think the author might be a Christian-that or she's a Mormon -_-
