Electronic 20 Questions= Mind Boggling fun...

Ok..I am not sure what forum this belongs in..it doesn't sound like a goof off topic to ME...but if it does to you..I am so very sorry..I didn't mean to clutter up your general forum with this...^_^ please regard me kindly.... (and this isn't an advertisement..^_^; I am sorry if it sounds like it...I was just sharing my experience with it...because it freaked me out...)

Anyway... has anyone played this electronic 20 questions Game?

what it is is this little round thing that tells you to think of something, and it will ask you 20 questions about what you are thinking...and I got to tell you..THIS THING IS FREAKY!!

I thought of Anime' and it guess it! I am not kidding! It was like, "Is it flat?" and asked really vauge questions..and somehow...it got Anime..I tried it again the next day...and IT GOT IT AGAIN!!

I found this out on a road trip and I was like, "OMIGOSH!!!!!!:" and my mom was like, "WHAT?!" *swerve*

But yah, these things are really good at guessing, I also tried comic vook and super man...and it got them both...

fun little toy actually..^_^ has anyone else played it?

its really simple actually, because clicking yes or no and such can narrow down the search much deeper than youd think

I don't know. It sounds similar to the process of a weegie board. I don't think its a good idea to mess around with that kind of stuff, even if it seems harmless.

it is a classic game...how is it like a jugui (SP) board? I am not summoning spirits by using it...just answering "Yes or no" questions... O.o

I have played Bible 20 questions before...the only difference is it is electronic... O.o

I know you're not summoning spirits but it can lead to that sort of thing if you're not careful. The whole idea of those is putting your trust in something else other than God. Nevermind. I don't know, I guess there's nothing wrong with what you're doing.

I have played that. Even though it can be easy for a human brain to narrow it down. How can it be easy for this thing? It's smaller then a tennis ball! How does it have a huge database of possible things. And it can litterly get anything you think of. Anything! In fact it's even better then humans at guessing! The thing really works like a brain! I mean how long would it have taken to program that thing. It would be impossible! Because it has infinte amount of things the person could be thinking in it! And just because it's not a tv show doesn't mean it's a movie! It could be a piece of cheese! And the thing would get it!

I mean...the stupid thing got that I was guessing anime! and it only asked vauge questions!! IT MUST HAVE TAKEN A LOT OF TIME TO PROGRAM THIS THING!!

Ahh Cheese...what if it was Scifi? Would it be like, "ATTACK OF THE CHEEZY ALIENS!" :lol:

Well, it wouldn't take that long to program. A friend of mine made a computer program that did almost the exact same thing pretty easily. The amazing thing is how many obscure words they thought to put in it, like "anime". However, if you think of something really, really obscure and impossible then it won't get it correct.
