this's a great anime! if you could ignore the violence.
so anyone seen it? who likes Naruto?

i really like how almost everyone in the series is so well developed, so there is no main character despite the title of the anime being "Naruto".
And the music when flashbacks and melancholy scenes are shown is just excellent!

i didn't like how Sasuke steals the show so much, but Sasuke being Sasuke, and Naruto being Naruto...

I enjoy Naruto quite a bit. Kakashi and Sasuke are my favorite characters. I have read little of the manga (maybe 25 episodes), and seen even less. As of yet, I like the fight between Kakashi and Zabuza best.

I enjoy Naruto too and Sasuke and Kakashi are also my fav. characters. Currently read the manga up to chapters 190-ish and seen the anime up to episode 57. For now, the fight where Sakura cuts off her hair is my favorite scene.

Psycho Ann, that episode on Sakura finally coming out of her shell is my fav too!!
ok, looks like most of you have seen up to ep 57 (i'm up to 56), what do you think of Rock Lee's fight against Garra? i think in many ways Lee is the stronger fighter, you hardly even see Garra attack! (so unfair)

um, and does anyone know (hint?) the connection between Kakashi and how got Shringan eye?

Because he isn't. But I can only speak for myself. Personally, I'm not too fond of the spaz characters that always seem to exist in any manga, and often get title roles. I guess I'm just not that sort of person. We'll see if I like Naruto better after I see the Nine-Tailed Fox Demon get partially unsealed.

Well, I'll admit I started to like Naruto waaaaayyy better later on in the series (especially after the major fight with Gaara--to which I will not reveal the outcome). But in the start he reminds me of a more bad-tempered Luffy above all else. ("I'm going to be the Pirate King!" vs. "I'm going to be the Hokage!")

About Kakashi's Sharingan, Kishimoto himself is keeping a tight lip (to my knowledge). He's probably going to come up with some dramatic background for it though.

I love Naruto with a passion... Kakashi and Jirayia (sp?) are my favorite characters. Naruto is one of those few animes that I like almost all the characters, so it makes it incredibly enjoyable to watch. (Well, I like everyone but Orochimaru.)

Long live Naruto! I just wish there'd be more of Itachi in the manga.... (Itachi is my third favorite.)

What's a spaz character? It isn't really a term, just something I put together. Do you know what it means to spaz out? Put it together.

When I say spaz character, I typically mean the non-serious, goofy character. Often they have big dreams and manage to be obnoxious about it (see what Psycho Ann said).
