Difference Between Your Online and Offline Personality

Talk about anything in here.

I`m a little bit more hyperactive in real life. Yes, I can get more hyperactive.
Well, at home anyways.
I do try to make myself fit in by being as serious as possible a lot. I rarely get accepted. Also, I`d never teall anyone which video games I play and what manga I read and what not since other than the sports games, I`d be mocked for playing "RPGs" and reading "Full Metal Alchemist" and what not.

^ Oh yeah? Well, tell those who would mock you that I said...wait, no, can't say that here. Anyway, anyone who mocks you for playing a superior genre is a moron.

They say:

"Final Fantasy is what 45-year-old guys play in their mothers` basment. People who play games where you take ****`n turns is for people who have no flippin` lives!"

And sad thing is, they are Christians.

We could have it under a cold sun.

Nah, I wouldn`t become friends with someone just because they like RPGs since 9/10 of the kids I know that like them are weird.....oh, gosh it`s a sign.

Gee..thanks. :)

Well, seriously, Sports is my favorite Genre and the "coolest" genres are Sports and 1st Person Shooter so I`m good.

RPGs still rock my socks though. I do more research on new RPGs than spors because you know when sports are going to come out anyways...

BACK ON TOPIC!

Yeah, so when I`m around my closest friends I act sort of hyper. On CAA i`m a mix of serious and hyper and when I try to fit in I`m serious. That`s how it works fir me.

I'm roughly the same both online and off. Except that offline I'm not as outgoing. Nothing to do with a lack of self-confidence, which I have plenty of, I just don't tend to make any special effort. I'm only a visitor on this world anyways...

Uh, the only differences in those personalities are the definitions. I'm not that much different.
I prolly talk more online than offline. I only talk a lot if I'm around people I know well. Online, I tend to avoid topics that I disagree with or don't know much about. It's hard to enjoy something if you don't understand it. Lots of times, I don't post because I don't think anyone will care about what I have to say cause it doesn't seem to be worthwhile.

And so hold on when there is nothing left in you

It's really hard for me personally to answer that question. Because both my online and offline personalities (more my offline) have been changing. For example I was extremely shy when I first went to school in 7th grade (homeschooled for a while). After that year I was quite a bad kid. I had alot of problems to. When I went back to school for my 8th grade year I was constantly in a joking mood. And other times I would just sit and think. I was apperently pretty funny most of the time. Other times I made a fool of myself. And something wierd happened with my personlity. I became more comfortable in front of large groups of people then in front of maybe less people. Most people get less comfortable. Now it's summer. The only personality trait I could give you that I have right now is lazyness. But otherwise your not in a school situation to really see what your persoanality is during summer. At least I aint. Online I have never had a "personality" really. I don't think anyways.

hmmm thats a tuff question. well im not very animated online nor am i in person unless im in the mood. only certain people can bring out my playful personality. i always act online how i am feeling in real life. i never pretend. if im not happy, im not. and if i am, i am. i wont pretend just because i am online. maybe being so honest with my feelings is a bad thing online sometimes.

That sounds just like me. I'm very shy online then I am IRL. I think alot of it is, I don't know how to break the ice when it comes to online with people. But after I do, then I'm okay.

Alot of my problems is, I would love talk more online like here or be in (if really do have them) aim chats, but I somewhat close up and really don't show myself much.

I'm pretty outgoing both offline and on. I'm sure you've figured that out by now if you talk to me online or in the chat. Unless I'm around people I've had no contact with then it might take me ohh 30 minutes to feel comfortable. I like sarcasm, joking around, I ask questions, what not, and I try to do it without sounding like an idiot but I fail sometimes.;) I'm not afraig to give my opinion on matters and I'm a little argumentitive sometimes but I try to use as much tact as possible. I don't like stagnant air nothing makes me more uncomfortable than...uh uncomfortable silence.

I'm not fake online, I just open up a lot more and share more of myself than I generally do with people offline. I actually discuss my faults and flaws and struggles with my online friends and keep them hidden from people in real life. Huh.

Actually, aside from what I said eariler, there are many things that my real friends in the real world don't know about because I fear they wouldn't understand. Kind of like the issue of anime or some personal issues. There are times I feel more at ease talking about certain topics to my online friends then to the people I know in real life.

I guess the same could also apply in the adverse direction too, that there are things I don't tell people online in fear that perhaps their opinions of me would change and that my real friends could relate more easily or help. Because we have known each other for a long time, because we are like brothers.

For some reason I'm not too sure why that is, but depending on the issue, my comfort level about discussing certain things changes from perfering my online friends to my real world friends.

There usually isn't a difference. BUT...since I've kinda got two sides anyway (very much like Kenshin), one minute I'm happy and the next minute I'm raging like a rabid dragon. I don't think I've ever actually gotten mad on here, though. So my personality online is the same as my "normal" (happy) personality...

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!
