Families in the CAA?

Postby CreatureArt » Tue Jun 28, 2005 1:10 am

Do you have members of your family on the CAA?

I hope nobody minds me asking: it just seems that there are a lot of related people here and I'd be interested to see who is in the same family. So its no big interrogation or 'I have to know so you'd better tell me' or anything but just something I'm curious about. :)

For the record, Photosoph is my twin sister.

Believe it or not, my family is not into anime.

My brother likes Cowboy Bebop and Trigun, and my sister thinks Fruits Basket was funny and the "blonde guy from Full Moon Wo Sagashite" was cute. They once joined as Zazeny and Kirosho, but they don't post here at all. Mom and Dad are still getting used to this whole "anime...thing..."

I'm curious... do we have an entire nuclear family on CAA? I should immediately state that I mean a family that contains at least two generations, so married couples do not count. One family comes close, I believe, but I don't think we have any complete.

My brother, johnyouth, signed up before I did, but he didn't post much. His username doesn't appear in "the list" anymore, so I guess he got reaped.

Whoa - so there are quite a few here that are related. It looks like mostly brothers and sisters.

I wonder if I could ever get my Dad into anime. He tends to hate any movie that contains any fantasy elements because if something is in a movie he will analyse it and tell us knowingly that its impossible and therefore is a stupid movie. . He also hates all forms of animated movies... so maybe not.

Are there many husbands/wives around as well? I kind of count them in when I think of family :) .

(If I'm being too nosy that's fine, but thank you for all putting up with my curiousity so far :) ).

I know we have one happy otaku couple: Eirewolf and Mithrandir. And I'm sure you can count on another one eventually....I mean, c'mon, can you imagine me marrying someone not interested in anime? O_o

 I would be really shocked if that ever happened.

Actually, Eirewolf and Mithrandir were the ones who initially sparked my curiousity enough to ask about family on the thread (I hope you two dont mind), because I wondered who else on CAA was related.

It's cool finding out all the different family members here :) .

I'm glad that you have heaps of friends in here, though I'm sad I haven't met your sister.

What happened with my sister seems to be the opposite: I introduced her to CAA and now, in a shorter time, she's got more posts and is on more than me  .
