Which is Better, Coke or Pepsi?

Pepsi.
Got really hooked on it in college.There was a Pepsi machine not too far
from the apartment where I lived and I used to go there and buy some
every so often.
Oh,and btw:has anyone else tried the ol' Pepsi and Milk bit from
Laverne & Shirley where you take some Pepsi and pour it into a glass
of milk?

Wow, this is a large number of posts in like 2 hours for a thread I find sorta pointless.
But anyway, I think Pepsi Vanilla rules all. I think normal Coke taste worse than Pepsi, but I think diet Coke with Splenda is teh awesome. Although, alot of people thikn it tast weird but it`s just in their head. If you look at a can of Diet Coke you`ll see the splenda logo. All Diet Coke has Splenda since nuetrasweet gave cancer.

I just randomly chose Coca Cola for the poll.

Oh, and actually one of the main ingrediants of Coca Cola was Cocaine for a while hence the name "Coke." You know what`s weird?

I see red cans that say "Coke" and red cans that say "Coca Cola."
I also see "Diet Coca Cola" as well. -shrugs-

I think the reason so many people post about this is everyone has something to say on this topic. Sodas like Pepsi and Coke have seriously affected modern man's way of life. So whether you like Pepsi or Coke, or don't drink either, it doesn't matter. You still wanna share your opinion.


I chose Pepsi, even though it is true that Pepsi can only be drunk icy cold. It it's tepid, its nasty. But when it's cold, it rocks- way more than coke. It's sweeter and more refreshing. I love Pepsi ONE - which is weird 'cause I'm really sensitive to the taste of Splenda. Icky. I tried Coke Zero, the coke knock-off of Pepsi One, and while it was okay, you could tell it was a diet drink.

Coke Zero is good. It`s like drawing the line of diet and normal. Never had Pepsi One.

And here comes the destroyer of false rumors, to beat down another false statement! Snopes.com, THE source for whether something is true or not, states:

". . . at no time in Coca-Cola's history has that beverage been green. The original formula called for caramel to give Coca-Cola its rich brown color, and although the recipe has undergone some changes through the years, none of them affected the ultimate color of the product . . . Coke has at times been bottled in green glass bottles, which perhaps explains the popularity of this particular rumor."

However, this particular rumor is 100% true. Coca-Cola didn't become completely cocaine-free until 1929.

Yeah, I go with Root Beer.

It depends on what kid it is. If it's the normal drinks, I think Pepsi has more flavor, but then I like the Coke offshoots (Vanilla and Cherry) better.

Of course, in the South, saying you like any Pepsi product seems to be blasphemy or something. :/

Ack, I rarely drink soda drinks but if I had to pick, I'll go with Pepsi. I just like the taste better, just a personal preference. ^^;

Coca-Cola.

I'm an addict; I'm known to grab that 32-pack cans of Coke and down the whole thing under a day at fastest. Keep drinking and you get to learn the secret of opening cans and bottles that were shaken up. Then you learn how to scull a nice cold Coke, whatever the size of the container is.

After that you become like me and put more sugar in before drinking, if more sugar's around.

I never drink soda, but the winner for me is Coke, hands down. No question at all. I love Coca Cola and all of its products. Vanilla Coke is amazingly good, especially out of a fountain.

pepsi hands down. when i drink coke i feel like my insides are going to give in, but i dont really like drinking soda anymore and if i do its just a sip.

We call it softdrink in Australia. I don't realise much, if any difference between Pepsi and Coca Cola in flavours but I've had people almost knock me into next Tuesday because of it. (not literally but some people get pretty upset and think I'm insane when I say that). Therefore I will have to say Coca Cola, because I have it more often and enjoy the taste. I don't drink much softdrink though, just occasionally so my insides don't get eaten away by the acids.

Well, the taste is a small difference (Pepsi is much sweeter for one thing) but it is enough for some to go ballistic about.

Coke is bettter. I think anyways. Of course I won't drink a product if it's a rip off of another product. So that wipes out most of the Pepsi products for me. If you think about it even origonal Pepsi is a rip off of Coke, because Coke came first, and then Pepsi came out. Both close to tasting the same, but Pepsi was a copy basicly. I like lime coke. I havn't tried lime Pepsi because, well, it's a rip off.

Well it really depends... Usually I drink coke because my mom buys it, but drinking Pepsi products are a nice change too because it has more of a syrupy or sugar taste to it.
