I think the older you get the more you begin to realize that you don't have to pretend to be cool any more to have fun.Probably the reason why some adults
avoid anime and cartoons as well is that they fear that they might get stereotyped
as being childishly uncool by their friends who watch Seinfeld and Friends.
Then again Inuyasha is one of the coolest and hippiest shows I know as is
Samurai Champloo and Duck Dodgers(on the cartoon side of course).

Thumbs up to the anime parents! The more the merrier. I wish my parents were a little more into it, but it's not bad. They understand why I like it and don't mind it. Plus, my mom seemed to find InuYasha interesting and she liked Spirited Away, Nausicaa and Laputa (I love watching my Ghiblis ^^), so that's progress.

This is a difficult question, because there are many, many anime I like, and many I approve of, but for young children there are many I wouldn't approve of. Are you asking for anime we approve of at certain age levels, or which we approve of for ourselves, or anime we approve of and would watch with our children? I mean, my kids can watch just about anything since they're teens, but like Little Momo, she has really young kids.
