The Pretender
Who remembers this awesome show! So much creativity and Jarod the main character was based on a really person. The mysterious Centre and all the dark history that took place there. This show was so well written and had lots of questions to keep you wondering. Unfortunatlely the show got axed after the 4th season had finished so we didn't find out everything.

I've heard the 1st series has been released on DVD in the US, just hope its released in Australia! Also I've never seen the two Pretender tv movies because they never came to free tv in Australia. I've never actually seen the first 10? or so episodes of the 1st series (heard about the show to late). Were they any good?

Any other Pretender fans out there?
Please share your thoughts!

Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?
Final Fantasy 7

"The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

the show was finished up with four seasons but was left open for the TV Movies to bring resolution, unfortunately the last one is still yet to be made. So we may never know what happens.
I really regret not giving the show much of a chance when it first aired, I started catching the 6am reruns on TNT over a year ago but thats usually way too early for me so I've probably seen only the equivalent of two and a half seasons, the whole first one and then a bunch of spread out and repeated episodes.

I loved this show... I watched it with my Mom all the time. My friend calls herself "Miss Parker" because of this show... Even though it happened EVERY TIME, I still got giddy every time he got psychological revenge on the bad guy of that episode... And his toys! Also, the retarded guy was cool...

Anyone remember the one where they fix his problem? This show was one of the best shows ever put out, if only because it was neither a soap opera nor a sitcom... And because it was otherwise good too... Hahahahaha... Sorry, I'm a spaz right now... It's because I'm depressed, and I'm in my rambling mode...

Yeah! I remember, that was really cool. :D

I liked this show...this was almost like the intro to stuff like CSI. My mom watched it...she loves smart people shows. Like McGyver.

The retarded guy "Angelo" was very cool and clever. Did anyone notice the young Angelo in the flashbacks was the little boy who played Anakin in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace? Although in The Pretender he wasn't annoying.

I never noticed that either.
Man, I loved that show! Weirdly enough, I've been thinking about it lately. :eh:
It was such an excellent show! My brother, sister, Mum and I used to watch it together. It got really interesting when you started learning about who their mother was... and it was so cool the way that guy inside The Centre helped Jarod out. Yeah, Angelo was cool. I think I remember some episode or even a couple where Jarod or someone went back into the centre for some reason... that was so cool. I'd love to get the DVD.

I don't know if it would help much, but if you like you could challenge me to an arcade game, Bob. Hope you're feeling better. It's an understatement, I know, but being depressed isn't fun. -__-
