There's something special.... about walking outside at 5 AM.... its just.... so majestic and beautiful.... you can see the skies transition of black to blue... seeing both colors in the same sky... and being all alone... being at peace... its... just.... i dunno really amazing. I walked around my neighborhood, and i really enjoyed it... i mean i havent walked around it for a LONG time lol (being on the computer and all)

i oughta make this a habit! maybe a daily routine XD

and the birds chirping is awesome as well XD

I totally agree with you MSP. When its around the crack of dawn I look outside my parents 3rd floor window and gasp at God's beautiful world.

Now you know why all those old people wake up early and take a walk outside every morning.

n_n Nature is one of God's most beautiful works. It's something we all take for granted sometimes. Lately I've been watching the sun rise when I stay up all night...and I don't regret a thing.

Heck yes! I still wake up early, even though school's out now. Its great to be out before all the people come out and start making noise. It's all peaceful and quiet and you can you just be alone with God. ^^

HAHA!! I have experienced that before...but lately I go to bed so late that it is hard to wake up an hour after you crashed...HA (not to mention it has been storming EVERY MORNING FOR THE PAST WEEK!! )

But that sounds nice...I should get out and appreciate the world God created more... I have been told I should get more sun...

Well, two days a week, my job starts at 430am, so I'm working before the sun is up. Naturally this doesn't stop me from staying up to unGodly hours with EGHS...

I love the early early morning. It could almost still be considered night time. staying up to like four and going outside (of course this requires a lot of caffine) and just staying outside for what ever reason untill like other people start waking up can be fun.

Well, you could meet people working-- as they clean out the neighbor's valuables...

I'm with Gypsy. The only time I'm see five is in the afternoon. Thus, I prefer the sunsets, the way there may be a wall of clouds with a hole in the middle that shows pink, the layers of colors when the sun finally sets...

One year in Ocean City, Md, one of my guest staying at my rental got up early to watch the sun raise on the beach and take pictures of it. I was still getting my beauty sleep before I got up to go to the fire and rescue convention meetings which would start at 8 AM. I will be leaving again for the beach this coming weekend for the fire and rescue convention for the whole week for business and fun.
Most of the time if I get up early before the sun raises its to get ready for work so I guess I miss alot.

At certain times of the year I'm up at 3 or 4am getting ready for work. :( Fortunately that will change when residency is over ... I hope.

I remember how cool it was when I went for a four mile run at 5:00 am. The whole neighborhood seemed as if it were deserted by all human inhabitants. The only noise I could hear was the sound of my breathing and my running pace. It was extreemly relaxing.

It is cool at 5 AM because no one is up making a (censored .. shooraijin) of a lot of noise, peace is a rare thing in this modern world.

Oh by the way on a completely unrelated topic did you know the peace sign is derived from a symbol of the cross upside down from Nero's time? It is a anti-christian symbol and hence it exists, because Satan loves to destroy and corrupt. The exact opposite of the so called "Peace Symbol". The irony never ceases to amaze me.

People always talk about how beautiful the little planet earth is in the early hours of the morning. I, personally, don't know what they're talking about. When I'm out that early, all I ever see is my eye lashes as I fight to keep my eyes lids from closing and the ground as I attempt not to fall over and resume sleep.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.
