It's probably one of my favorite animes. But who should he end up with? Will he end up with the dead lady or Kagome? Should you try to put him with someone else? What do you think about his really bad time with relationships?
Personally, I think the boy is in need of some kind of divine intervention.

XD....so funny.

Come on, it's so obvious that Inuyasha loves Kagome. He doesn't want to come out and tell his feelings, that's all.

Kagome, or I'm going to be really disappointed.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I'm torn because Kikyo is voiced in the American dub by Willow Johnson, and she does Kasumi for Ranma 1/2. :sniff:

I am a HUGE fan of Inu Yasha/Kagome. Fans generally leave IY alone when it comes to pairings (as in, only Kagome). However, there are those who see IY/Kikyo... I just retch at the thought. She's dead! Get on with your life!

However, I've been wondering this for awhile... how will it work? They obviously have feelings for each other, but they live in different times. Kagome will have to go back to her time permantly one day... or will she?

I think he should end up with Kagome. Let's do a comparison here shall we?

Kikyo: wants to drag him to hell
Kagome: wants to live happily ever after with him

Kikyo: pinned him to a tree
Kagome: un-pinned him from the tree

Kikyo: mean, nasty and cold hearted
Kagome: sweet, kind, and caring

Hmm....tough choice. :eyeroll:

Well, I know they were both deceived by Naraku, but the fact is, Kikyo has become dark and tainted from what she was before. She's not the same person Inuyasha fell in love with, and he doesn't see that most of the time. Kagome is the same as she always was - not perfect, but at least she isn't trying to hurt him...

Hmm...I haven't seen all the series yet...but something about the way Kikyo is helping Naraku and at the same time being perfectly clear that she doesn't like him or work for him...

something makes me think Kikyo has an interesting plan up her sleeve...maybe along the lines of killing Naraku. With that said, she isn't so bad for an ex-priestess who feeds off the souls of maidens.

I would still like to see Inuyasha live happily ever after with Kagome as a full-human. Not expecting it tho.

I haven't seen all the series yet either, but all Kikyo seems to be doing is working towards Inuyasha's death and doesn't care who else gets hurt in the process. I mean, look at the episode Kagome's Voice and Kikyo's Kiss. She makes Kagome watch as she tries to drag Inuyasha to hell. She's not the same person Inuyasha fell in love with anymore. He needs to get that through his thick skull. Don't get me wrong, I love Inu, but he needs to start thinking a little. And I think he should stay half demon and not be whole of either human or demon. I mean, Kagome has never asked him to be human and she's afraid of him as a demon. The demons in this show are awesome cool anyway.

Y'all may want to wait on your opinions of Kikyo's motivations til you've seen all the existing episodes.

That's interesting, Grammarian. Hadn't thought of it quite that way. I've seen 90% of the eps airing on CN (although I missed some at the beginning) so I guess the only way to see more at this point would be fansubs...?

I'm pretty sure that I've seen all of them to date that have aired on CN. (I actually still watch them just to make sure and just because I can watch reruns numerous times without getting bored.) As far as any more goes, I'm personally waiting on Viz and/or CN to finish dubbing the next season and let us poor Americans have more Inuyasha. I've started reading the English-dubbed manga too, although I wish they would catch up even to where the blasted anime is (right now Vol. 16 just got to the point of the encounter with Goshenki).

I'd love to see Inuyasha and Kagome together. And as many have already said, Kikyo is dead. Personally, I don't care if she was "with" Inuyasha before Naraku had to come and mess everything up. Okay, going a little soft on Kikyo now but don't get me wrong, if I could I would do everything in my power to kill her myself :thumb: If she was in her right mind I'm near certian Kikyo wouldn't be "after" Inuyasha, in fact I think she would pretty much just go back to the whole being dead thing. I've heard that before Grammarian and I sorta like the thought but after thinking on it I don't like where it goes but thats just me ^.^ hm...maybe I should just go back to backing whatever Spirit_Wolf says again, never been good with "voicing my opinions" ... or spelling for that mater o.0

Interesting question: Is it right to download fansubs for a series currently licensed in the US, because if all you're doing is watching the fansubs, aren't you hurting the people (Cartoon Network, TechTV and others) who bring anime to the US? Just a thought. Plus I haven't really settled this question for myself, and until I do I won't be downloading any fansubs.

You gotta figure Inuyasha is at least 70, so yah, he's a smidge old for Kagome. *giggle* I personally can't download any fansubs, because my computer is dumb.

blueraven, I got to kill Kikyo in my story! Wheeeee! *gets guns and various torture devices* A hunting we will go.....

Well, I count the years. You gotta figure demons age differently anyway, so we could all be totally off. *shrugs* I guess it's all really a matter of opinion.

Either way doesn't Inu Er- well for those of us who hope he will ^.~, doesn't he plan on using the Shikon no Tama to become human? Yes, hopefully thinking it might be, keep in mind I haven't seen much of Inuyasha in awhile and haven't gotten very far in the series so things could of changed. If that being the case wouldn't he only be what, 17-19 years old? And didn't Inu's father take a a human Er- "bride" (Inu's mother)? *shrug* Pay no heed to me, I haven't a clue what I'm talking about.

And yes, yes of course you did Spirit_Wolf. You really don't know how glad I am to see her die, even if it was only in your fanfic  I've read a few other fanfics but really what is it with people keeping her alive?! But really, who was the one with the bright idea to let you have guns? Not good, but I suppose its better then letting you have Knives :eyeroll: lol

*looks at guns....looks at Knives...tosses guns* KNIVES!!!!

In some fics I've read, Kikyo's been an okay character, but in others, she's worse than in the show. *giggles*

He was going to use the Tama to become human for Kikyo, then the whole betrayal thing happened, and now he wants to become full demon. But Miroku keeps trying to convince him outta it. I hope he does. Go Miro-kun go!
