Last night's episode of FMA was deep... super deep.

I keep thinking about it. I gotta start watching that show regularly.

Oh... you didn't see it? I just assumed... nevermind

Please... remember. I can't remember everything. So it'll be a little choppy and some things will be wrong.

Also, My friend, Vince, kept Iming me in the middle of the summary, so I couldn't get perfect grammar. Heck, I Probably have a grammar error in every sentence. lol

summary of what I remember:

Ed just becomes a "dog of the military".
They don't have a place to stay so they live with someone else from the military, his 5 year old daughter, and his dog temporarily.
Ed starts to write a letter to that... person who made his automale (can't remember her name).
The other guys daughter (Alice) comes in and asks who he's writing to. Ed freaks out. Al and the little girl start to make fun. Finally, the Alice says, "I know! I think I'll write something to my mom.". So she gets some crayons and a piece of paper and lies down on the floor to start. Later her father comes in. They talk for a little bit. The man picks up his daughter, Ed gives the man her drawing that she wanted to send to her mom. He looks at it for a bit and leaves. The next day, Ed and Al have to leave and Ed tells the girl that her "big brothers" will be back again sometime. She makes them promise to come back one day. They promise her. Later, they come back to his house for some reason. The front door is locked so they come into his celler. There's a lot of weird animals in there. The man says "Come in" in the other room. They do and the man closes the door. "Look... Look at my creation!" he says. It's some sort of talking dog creature. It had a name but I can't remember it. Anyway, The man tells the creature "Look... these people are your freinds". Then, the thing says "they are friends?". The man answers"Yes". The the creature asks Al and Ed "you are my friend?". Ed hesitantly anwsers "Yes... we are your friends". Al is impressed! Al says "WOW! It really does talk!". But Ed is suspicious. Ed starts asking him "When did you wife leave you?" He answers "To years ago" Ed asks "And when did you start making these animals?!" The man answers "2 years ago" Ed then asks another question. "Where did you wife really go?" The man gets a weird smile on his face. He says "This is why I hate you prodigies. You always have to know everything" Ed then knows how he made the creature... I can't remember what happend in between there". Ed starts talking about toying with life. The man answers "like putting your brothers soul in that armor isn't toying with life?! Or how about trying to bring back your mother. Isn't that toying with life?!" Ed starts using is automale to attack him... REALLY hard. Al says "Stop! You're going to kill him!". The Creature starts to make growling noises and grabs on to Ed's coat. The creature says "...Big brother... please stop it.". Ed says "Please Alice... bare with me here" Then Ed claps his hands. Al says "Brother! You're not going to try to seperate them! Are you?!" Then the man smiles again. The man says something about the same thing's going to happen that did when you tried to revive your mother or something like that. Anyway, The military alchemists show up. They go down into the celler. The leader says "Ed! Attacking another Alchemist?! What's the meaning of this?!". Ed answers "Please spare me sir. He used his own daughter.". So a little bit later, they are about to take the man to jail and take the creature with them. Ed starts to argue with the leader about the creature. The leader punches him in the stomach REALLY hard. Ed falls down. They start to drive off. Ed says "I won't let them turn her into a test subject" So he tips the truck over with alchemy. The creature gets out of the truck and runs off. Al and Ed try their best to catch up but she's to fast. She finds an alley which happens to be were the confused Scar is. He looks at the creature. He tounches her head. and says "...you are a man made creature... one part dog and one part human... but how do I know that?" then he says "You poor thing. You are a sin against nature and your body hurts so badly..." so he puts his hands on the creature, says a prayer over the girl and the dog's souls (it was something like "God, please accept the souls back into your kingdom"), and destroys the fused body. Then scar leaves the alley. Ed and Al find the alley where they lost her. He finds a massive patch of blood on the wall. Ed says something like "Alice... I couldn't save you" then he starts crying.
had enough.

It was very sad. I'll probably have that memory stored in my mind for the rest of my life. To tell you the truth, I thought the man was crazy when I first saw that episode... just... not to that extent.

I know. For some reason, it really disturbed me as well. Of course we know that that can't happen in real life...but the concept of someone actually doing that to his own daughter, and...gah. Just so sad.

What really will stick in my mind are the things that Nina says when she was the chimera...and the voice.

I have watched all of the episodes that have aired thus far, and I have not enjoyed anything aside from the animation.

:(

I read the manga but saw only one episode, and I thought it pretty good.

That does sound sad though...

That's fine, I'm very happy that you are enjoying the series. Personally, I have not liked anything really. I forgot to mention that I like the character designs as well. As for the story, characters, etc.., I do not find interesting.

If you enjoy it, then good for you. : )

Yeah, you said you were having problems with like nearly every anime and nearly lost interest in us awhile back.

This is true. Basically, nothing has really been very interesting lately. I have only found myself viewing older series', as well as more unknown titles (like Master of Mosquiton).

The only new series that I am looking forward to is Tetsujin-28 Go, which will be released in September.

Ah, yeah that ep. Very depressing. >_< FMA is worthy of the title of best anime sereis ever IMO. It's very deep. I've seen it all, and I cannot wait for it to all hit R1 DVD and especially for the movie (hits theaters in Japan this July).
