my apologies in advance if this either ends up being controversial or is put in the wrong place

i had this really strange thing happen to me earlier today, i was sitting in my chair, watching tv, i dozed off like i do sometimes, when i woke up, it was like there was a voice in my head saying "what is the holy spirit trying to teach you?" and my immediate reaction was "what the? where in the world did that come from?"

any thoughts?

My thought is perhaps you subconsciously feel guilty about not devoting the amount of time you need or want with God.

Seriously, though, I think Agasfas has a good theory there. You could try re-prioritizing and see if you hear any more voices.

Yeah, I agree with GP and Agasfas. Sometimes were you're sleepy, you think totally crazy weird random things. More often, however, its you digging up what's secretly been going on in the back of your brian. My advice would be to pray and ask God if there's anything he might be wanting you to think about or re-prioitize.
