Because of the awesomeness of the memberhood, of course.
How can you reconcile divine foreknowledge with human free will? (bonus points if you can come up with an answer that doesn't depend on timelessness/eternity).
Foreknowledge does not imply mandate.
Here's my question to ponder: How am I going to spend all my bonus points?!!
Do gnomes live in my closet?
Of course they do]Wouldn't it be better to make everyone in the world have everything they want, and work because they love their jobs than have everyone in the world work for money and still be unable to afford the things they want?[/quote]
Impossible logistics notwithstanding... who would take your garbage to the dump?
Due to the fact that the end times in the Bible needs to have people alive to come about then what would happen to humanity if all the nuclear weapons, which is enough to kill everyone, actually went off?
Presumably the nuclear weapons are not aimed at every point on the globe. There would be some pockets of civilization that were not blown off the planet.
Do angels find humans interesting?
Probably.
"And now this Good News has been announced by those who preached to you in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen." (1 Peter 1:12)
They probably watch us, not because of any inherent greatness we possess, but because God works through people.
Did God make humanoid creatures on other planets?
Maybe. I have a hard time believing that Earth is the only planet in the universe that God would populate with intelligent life.
Speaking of other planets, God gave adam dominion over the fowls of the air the fish of the sea and things on the land, did that include other planets?
Haven't we screwed up our own planet enough?
Vegitarians don't eat meat because it was alive right? Well aren't plants alive?
Yes. Quit being so logical.
If plants can move towards light, doesn't that mean they're intelligent on some level?
Intelligence is different from instinct, or whatever it is that makes plants move.
And What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
That is one of the great mysteries of the Universe.

I've pondered that one myself.... Perhaps it's a side effect of sensory overload.
