SICK of my Xbox

Postby Nightshade X » Wed May 18, 2005 9:18 am

I bought a refurbished Xbox recently and, quite frankly, I'm sick of it!! Now, I know what you're thinking, and yes... I really enjoy playing my games on it (especially Ninja Gaiden)... when it's actually WORKING!! :stressed: Every time I put a game in the console, I get an "unable to read" message or a "Your disc is either dirty or damaged" message. I would understand if these were rental copies or used games, but these are brand-new, fresh-out-of-the-plastic type games! So... if anybody has any kind of info for me (tips, contact sites, numbers, whatever), please let me know so I can fix this thing and go back to playing my brand-new games without such annoying problems...

I don't know if you can do use lense cleaners on the x-box, but if what MSP is suggesting is the case, you might try one.

nah... tried that already. I think what I'll do is just pack it up, exchange it for a new one, and just pay the difference. Thanks, guys.

That's probably the best. Looks like you got a bad one...
